The 50Pcs Thread Checker kit from Keasue has been an absolute game-changer for keeping my hardware projects organized and on track. The smart design features a separate slot for each of the 27 standard and 23 metric sizes, with crystal-clear markings on both the tool and foam storage rack—an absolute lifesaver when working in tight spots or making quick trips to the hardware store. I love how each piece is color-coded (blue for standard and red for metric) and the top-notch aluminum construction with laser-etched labels means these gauges can handle everyday wear-and-tear without a hitch. Thanks to their detachable design, I can easily bring just the sizes I need, saving me time and hassle. Overall, this thread checker kit has been incredibly convenient, reliable, and durable—making it a must-have staple for any DIY enthusiast or professional mechanic!

I previously ordered a thread checker in the form of a board and it has been far and away more useful than I had assumed. I've already used it dozens of times. For example, I used it to find out that the screw installed in a 5 year old photo mount was metric not SAE and the wrong thread count, although it looked right visually. This allowed me to order the correct screw and now the mount works the way it should have worked all along. The problem with the thread checker in the form of a board is that there is no way to check anything that can't be screwed onto the board. The board itself is aluminum alloy, but the screws are steel which makes it very heavy. These individual thread testers can be taken to the patient which allows maximum flexibility in testing. And they are all aluminum so they're lightweight. This entire kit and case, which includes a wider range of test threads, weighs much less than the thread testing board I have (1 lb 11 oz vs 2 lb 1 oz). The only downside is that it's a little more cumbersome to test nuts because each test piece has to be removed for the test, while the board has all the tests right there sticking up. But given the choice between the two, I'd definitely choose this one.

A very complete set. I prefer to the thread checkers fastened on boards because more flexibility such as checking a bolt already mounted.

This is a great set for finding or confirming the threads and size of nuts and bolts. It has metric and standard and the sizes and thread count are both marked for easy matching. They have coarse and fine thread units so you can make sure that matches as well as the size. They are very convenient as one side is the female for the bolt and the other is the male for the nut.I have other thread checkers but while the ones that are on a flat board are very convenient as you can hang them on a wall and they are always there, for these you would have to get out the case and find the match. But that other board type is useless if you have the end of a bolt sticking out deep inside something where you cannot put that while board in there to try to figure it out. These are perfect for that situation. Take one out and see if it threads on and then move to the next one if it does not. This kit is by far the only one I have that is useful in that situation. Even the more flexible ones that are strung on a wire can't compete with the flexibility of this set.And one more big plus is the number of sizes that come with it. Okay, I will probably never use some of the very large ones but it is good to know they are there if you need them, Still it is the most complete set that I have seen and was able to match several bolts and nuts I had laying around from the tiniest ones I use for computer circuit boards to the larger ones I use on furniture and building things. This is highly recommended.BTW, the pieces are all aluminum and so very light weight. In some situations that might be an issue like trying to force a bolt into a size it does not belong. But for me it is not a negative and may be a plus that it is not a problem around magnets.
