Stop looking here.Don't look any further for a nut and bolt sorter. I am a tool snob. I absolutely HATE junk tools and chintzy feel. I like substance when I pick something up. This is a TANK. And I love HOW it's built... And if you somehow manage to wear out or break one of the gages, they are simply off the shelf nuts and bolts that you can easily replace... pull the cover off, pop out the bad one and put in the new one, replace the cover.I'm going to screw mine side by side to a single piece of 0.125 aluminum and have a ear with a hanging hole off the top to hang on the wall by my nuts and bolts bins.

Excellent quality. Well made. BUT one thing they should do for this price. Add a 45 degree stand so they they stand up on the work bench.

This is a well constructed gauge that should last me my lifetime. It is very handy to have. If you work on different years of cars this can save lots of guess work. No longer wondering if its metric or standard. Its also great to know the thread pitch and size when the need to tap a hole arises. Time saver is the best description.

This is one of the few things I have bought where I was immediately impressed right out of the box. Very solid, easy to read, very functional, looks really good and hopefully it will save a few trips to the hardware store.

This a heavy duty thread checker that will stand up to lots of use. Easy to read etchings for sizes on anodized blue aluminum. 2 pieces one for smaller bolts and nuts and one for larger. I will use the smaller sizes most often and will keep that one close. Packaged well and received in great condition and quickly. Well satisfied. Worth the price.

This is one of those things that you don't need until you need it, and then it's something you can't do without. Knowing what fastener you need for the job, before you get to the store.This is pretty beefy, all things considered, and the gauge is built well. They essentially mounted all the correct size nuts and bolts into a piece of plywood, sandwiched the whole thing in an aluminum cover, and clearly marked it all to be able to read it easily.The nuts and bolts they used appear to be Chinese made, manufactured by Tiabao Fastener in Shanghai. They're good quality, and everything I measured (by caliper and thread gauge) is right within ISO standards (and on the tighter side of the tolerance, at that).It's heavy, it's basic, and it does exactly what you need it to - they have both metric and standard threads in sizes between M2 and M16 in metric, and #2 to 5/8 on the inch side.It's got a few sharp corners, and the nuts aren't necessarily glued in place, so while they stay between the plates on the gauge, they can slide to the front or back. with a little more deburring and some hot glue, there would be little for me to complain about. None of these complaints would functionally affect the gauge, however.It's a bit pricey, but the assembly appears to reflect this, and there's a decent amount of labor that goes into putting this together.
