This sensor is somewhat flexible and paper-thin, so it could work in a lot of creative projects. It requires about an ounce or so of force before the change in resistance is measurable, after which it is pretty sensitive to small changes. It's not clear how much current it can handle, but I assume it should be kept to a minimum.

I was intending to use this to see if a cover on a hot tub was open or closed. After a few contact closures, it stopped working. It worked fine for a while, but that environment just is too rough for the device.

I ordered this to use with a resistance based midi controller. It didn't work for that so I tested it with a multimeter and it worked perfectly.

I used it for the Going Fishing game at the Telluride Neuromorphic workshop 2022 to detect if we catch a fish or not (search YT for Gone Fishing Telluride Neuromorphic). It's always important with these FSRs to put a pad over the sensitive area, e.g. from rubber or leather, to apply the pressure to the FSR area.It would be helpful if these FSRs came with solderable connectors.

This one wasn't sensitive enough for my application. I replaced the sensor in my HD mini set. Wasn't good enough. It doesnt always fire. Might be fine for a drum
