This is a great sensor. I like that it is waterproof and flexible.It is very easy to use since it is just a variable resistor that is controlled by pressure. I found that it was easy to detect even a light touch. It acts as open (infinite resistance) if there is no pressure. When I pressed hard with my thumb it was about 10 Kohms of resistance Documentation and example setups are easy to find online..It is quite robust unless you use something sharp.You will need to be careful if soldering to the leads so you do not damage the sensor lead's protective coating.This is a perfect sensor for your project that can use a finger or thumb to activate a circuit or code.You can't use this sensor for fingerprint detection as it only detects pressure.Enjoy!
