Works great tells you the indoor temperature as well as the outdoor temperature plus the humidity for both for 19 bucks. It was well worth the money. Just remember there is no backlight on it but well worth it works awesome easy to set up too bad it’s made in chink land.

I dropped & broke the one I had. I was happy with it so ordered from the same company. This on is smaller but I'm very happy with it. It seems to be very accurate.

Local weather is nice but knowing the temp right out side your home is even better. Installed this under our second story deck so we add a degree or two because it’s a bit cooler there. Monitor goes outside and digital temp is on an additional monitor side. Seems to be accurate when checked against phone or local weather. Nice for the kids to be able to see when getting ready for school or just curious. Plastic seems to be holding up well after a year or two of use. Buttons and readability have been easy to manage. Good value for home use. Currently not working because of a battery issue that I haven’t pulled the ladder out to fix yet - too cold outside. LoL. Thank you!

I bought the two sensor version for my wife -- she wanted something to keep track of the temperature in her new greenhouse, while the second sensor shows outdoor conditions. Both do a great job, and have been working fine. The receiving unit measures and shows indoor conditions, and at first it seemed to be way off base. It was showing temps in the kitchen anywhere from the mid 40's to 80's Fahrenheit, both of which are wildly off. We have since learned to keep the unit shielded from the kitchen window, and it is much better behaved now. However, when we first noticed this problem, I contacted ThermoPro's customer service via web form. I asked whether the accuracy issues we were seeing were expected, and what we should do. The web form also asks for proof of purchase, in the form an invoice (?), receipt, or a picture of the unit -- this seemed oddly premature for a simple question, so I didn't provide one. I indicated that I got it from Amazon. Yes, I know, I didn't follow their rules. The response from customer service was boilerplate -- we need to see the invoice or the receipt before we can even answer your question. OK, standard BS, but then I read this line in this response:> If you received this as a gift, we will require you to contact whoever gifted you this product and request the invoice / order number from them so we may verify this purchase. Every online purchase will come with an invoice or record of purchase and is easily attainable.Seriously? I get this as a gift, and I need ask the giver for the invoice to verify the purchase? What if I bought it at a yard sale? What if the giver is anonymous, or it was part of a Dutch auction? I guess I could take a picture of the unit to prove I own it, but to be honest, that should be completely unnecessary unless they are going to replace the unit. Further, if I don't own the unit, why would I be spamming your web form looking for answers to customer support questions?I'm fully aware that I may be acting and reacting unreasonably here, but the time they got back to me, we had figured out a solution to the problem, so I could afford to be truculent. I ignored their request and got on with my life.Take from this what you will, and act within your own comfort zone.

Excellent quality at this low price point. It has a nice design, easy-to-read display, and is very accurate. The instructions were a little tricky to follow, but I got it working after careful reading. I highly recommend this product. Important note: For the outdoor temperature sensor to correctly measure the temperature, do not mount the outdoor sensor against an outside wall enclosing a heated space. The temperature will read 2 to 3 degrees warmer. Also, placing the sensor in direct sunlight will increase the outdoor temperature reading by 5 or more degrees.

My recent purchase was for two ThermoPro TP60 wireless indoor/outdoor thermometer + hygrometer (humidity monitor) units, to add to the three TP60 units I bought a few months ago. Our house is multilevel and this arrangement lets us see the inside / outside weather in multiple areas around the house. Plus, in the colder months it’s super helpful to keep tabs on the humidity level in various rooms for health reasons. The ThermoPro set replaces a similar set of units by AccuRite, which started malfunctioning after years of service. (Hint: the weather app on my phone was reporting 100% humidity and it was raining outside, yet at least one of my AccuRite units was topping out the humidity at 70%.) The AccuRite unit featured a larger display on the inside unit than the ThermoPro TP60, but the ThermoPro displays are uniformly darker and easier to read from across the room.We are very happy with these unit pairs thus far, although performance over time is a key (and currently unknown) variable. Which brings me to my first pro tip to (hopefully) push the product’s longevity out further.Pro Tip #1: Each indoor unit comes with a button to change the wireless radio channel to tune to its mate. However, This button also enables you to do what I did: Use only one outdoor sensor unit (recall I have five) and tune all of the indoor units to it. Because outdoor weather is much, much harsher than indoors, I suspect the indoor units will outlast the outdoor ones. But if/when the single outdoor unit starts to fail, I can trot out one of my unused outdoor units, put batteries in it for the first time, and retune all the indoor units to it. This arrangement saves money on batteries and, again hopefully, extend the longevity of the whole system.Pro Tip #2: While you can place your indoor unit(s) anywhere in your living space as long as it’s out of the sun and not too close to a heat source, there is generally only one optimal place to put your outdoor unit.Placement of the outdoor sensor unit can be a challenge because it has to be somewhere that A) is always in shade during the day; B) has PLENTY of ventilation around it; yet C) is not so close to the building to skew the outside temperature reading when it’s cold out, b/c buildings always radiate some heat. The manufacturer generally recommends a low branch under a shady tree, which is where I put ours. But even a few minutes of direct sunlight a day can make your readings wildly off for that period. And if your spot is shady but too protected from ventilation, it can be like leaving the thermometer in a hot car — your readings can be inflated.I DO have two requests of ThermoPro, however.1. I would like to have been able to purchase the indoor and outdoor units separately, but was not able to figure out how to do so. The price of this set is quite reasonable, but less plastic and electronics in the environment is always a good thing.2. Please look into more environmentally friendly alternatives to the plastics you use in your products. And until you are able to replace the plastics altogether, please identify your plastic components with recycling numbers on the insides of the parts, so your consumers can dispose of these components responsibly. YES plastic recycling is currently a total sham perpetrated by large oil companies, but maybe our society can somehow start to do better with it than dumping it all in landfills and our oceans.Don’t forget to recycle your old electronics!
