Read Temperatures at a Distance
The built-in thermopile sensor with a distance-to-spot ratio of 12:1 enables the infared temp thermometer to safely measure target surfaces at greater distances. Please note that this infrared oil thermometer is not suitable for measuring human body temperatures.

Improve accuracy when measuring any object or surface by adjusting the emissivity setting (0.1-1.0) on this cooking thermometer for frying oil.
This emissivity is 0.95 by default, making it suitable for measuring the surface temperatures of most objects. More accurate adjustments can be made by referring to the user manual.

I always wanted one of these thermometers so I finally got one and I'm glad I did. I was worried about accuracy but so far it's doing a really good job. Worth it.

I use this a lot. Instant read of the surface temp of an item you point it at. The probe takes a second or 2 to stabilize the reading when you stab it into some meat.

Excellent product, has helped so much cooking on my Blackstone grill. It is accurate, and identifies all of the temps on the grill plate, and the probe let’s you know exactly when you should pull food off by how you want it done, love this thermometer, helps with my pit boss to, and thermo pro customer service is the best, I had a probe that didn’t work, called them, and they replaced it in three days, no questions asked, I’ll only buy thermo pro products from now on

This has amazing function for a griddle on top of other cooking devices with the probe and indirect thermometer. Great purchase for and griddle cooker. Compact design with a magnate to attach on the side for easy access.

It's a great 2-1 Thermometer! I recommend this tool to anyone. It's so nice not to have to keep up with 2 separate thermometers! The bright orange color and magnets on the back help me keep up with it. The only issue I am having now is the IR temperatures are showing wrong but the probe is spot on and gets me the perfect temperature every time. One feature I wish it had was a way to flip the display when I check temperatures with the IR, I have to turn my head to see the numbers since the device is pointing to the flat top.
