One box was enough to amply cover the top of my small wood burning sauna stove 12in by 19in with a few layers of stone! And, they worked perfectly! SISU Sauna pride! This half Fin was all grin! Can’t wait to fire up my 6 x 10 sauna again!

My sauna stove didn’t arrive with enough rocks, so I tried to supplement with rocks from the yard. They don’t last long - quickly split open. These last and look nice. Good shapes and angles to fit into the stove as well.

Only had the heater up to 90c/194f about 5 times so far, stones have not cracked or exploded. I think these were a good deal.

Put these in our wood burning stove in our sauna at our cottage and they really work to heat the place up.

Packing was terrible, came in a beat-up box held together with reams of tape. But it's hard to damage rocks, so I guess it works. Rocks were relatively uniform in size and after rinsing per the instructions on my sauna heater, first time use smell was minimal. Would buy again if I ever needed to.

They started cracking after first use. I threw them in a fire pit for an hour got them red hot them put them in a concrete box and sprayed water on them for my sweat lodge. They stayed hot for 30 minutes the steam was hot just not nearly as hot as i’m used to... I usually run my lodges for atleast 1hr with geodes out of the creek.I do not recommend this product
