I didn’t know what to think of this sandwich maker, but am always looking for tips and hacks to come up with good and healthy food fast. I love gadgets that help me with food prep because I hate to cook so much but I love to eat well, so there we are. I actually ended up liking this sandwich prep device because it made a pretty good sandwich. The materials are plastic, but this is a solid piece and all the parts are well made and not flimsy. The instruction guide is perfection. It shows you step by step. Clean up is easy, even though your sandwich can get messy. It will take a few times to perfect this process, as my first sandwich was a bit overpacked. I thought I could fill up the items to the top of the container, but I didn’t use a bit enough tortilla, so I ran out of ‘sides’ pretty quickly and had to juggle contents to keep it together enough to toast it and serve it. I like the suggestion they gave to put your cheese on the top so that it holds the sandwich together when you toast it. I ended up with a nicely toasted, pretty good tasting sandwich (contents are roast beef, lettuce, cheddar and havarti, and a touch of mayo, nothing else as I don’t like sauces on my sandwiches, but if you do you could add a little). Toasting it went well as I pre warmed the pan and just flipped it back and forth until it looked right. You can’t really toast it so that the contents are warmed through, so you’d have to start with warmed contents if you want a hot sandwich like a panini, but it’s fun and quick and a nice change. I rather liked it, and would be happy to serve a sandwich I made from it to anyone, and enjoyed it myself.

I selected the FlipWrap on a whim after looking for something entirely different. I like kitchen gadgets and this one looked like an interesting one and I took a chance on it. It is one of those things that is ridiculously simple and I’m mad that I didn’t think of it first. This is a very straightforward product. It is basically a mold (as in template) that you lay on top of a tortilla that guides you in cutting out wedges and then makes filling and folding simple and easy. With fillings at the ready, it is almost trivial to make a filled tortilla in just a few minutes, and with mindful handling flipping the wrap and toasting it in a hot pan or on a griddle is a snap.I decided to make a wrap for my wife using leftover burrito meat and cheese. Following the directions on the box, assembly took a couple of minutes and the grilling (frying) took about 5 minutes in a cast iron skillet. With almost no effort I produced something superior to that of the local fast-food chain restaurant known for Mexican-like cuisine. I have been asked to make more for the rest of the family this weekend. The pack comes with a nice storage box, two FlipWrap molds in different sizes, and a tamper. The tamper serves to mash down the fillings, and it also has a sharp edge for cutting the wedges out of the tortilla. It works well. I will state though that I prefer using an actual knife for the cutting, but the tamper’s edge is fine for the job. This is one of those dead-simple products that works as designed as is easy to understand and use. My experience with it has been positive enough that I am planning to buy more of these as gifts.

This is a great idea. I like making wraps, but it usually doesn't turn out great. This product made it easier for me to make my breakfast wrap, without the filling falling out was great. This kit comes with everything I need to make a perfect wrap, and it actually has step by step instructions on how to make a perfect wrap. I would buy this item again it's worth the money spent.

I’ve spent a couple of weeks with this Flipwrap kit, and I like a lot about it. The kit itself has everything you need to make a squared-off-filled tortilla. You use the included tools to shape a typical tortilla, fill it with contents, and then warm or cook the folded tortilla up. The instructions are clear, and the kit is straightforward to use, clean, and store. I first made breakfast burritos with peppers, cheese, eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns, which I heated in a cast iron skittle. It worked out well; it’s a different way to serve breakfast and not quite as messy as a traditional burrito. Everyone loved them. I made them in batches and kept them in the oven until they were ready to serve. I also could premake all these and warm them up later. I also made homemade pizza puffs with sauce, sausage, and cheese that I heated in an air fryer. Those were outstanding. Overall, this is a superb kit to experiment with and make daily food or special treats. It would be an excellent gift for the cooks in your life.

I had a great experience using the flipwrap! It was a fun way to change up how we made dinner. While the instruction manual could use a little tweaking in the order of steps, the video guide was crystal clear and super easy to follow.

Found the Flipwrap through a social media recommendation. Cool looking box. Has simple instructions on the side and includes an instruction manual with more details. The numbering was printed weird, but I just followed the ordering. I only had smaller tortillas to start so tried the small device with an egg and sausage wrap. Put a little cheese on the fold as suggested and worked perfectly. Turned out great. Just bought 10-inch tortillas and will be trying the bigger Flipwrap tonight.
