This press doesn’t get the tortillas thin enough. Also, there is a coating on the metal that chips off at the friction point of the press. The little pieces get in your tortillas and make a mess. I am throwing this out.

This tortilla press was easy to set up and use. It made making tortillas super fast and easy. I placed a wax paper sheet on the press, a ball of dough in the middle and another paper sheet on top. You do need to flatted the dough ball a little before pressing so it gets thin enough. You also need to turn the sheet with the ball and repress so it gets evenly thin enough. The thickness and size were perfect for my needs. The press functions like it should and seems durable. I do take mine apart and store it back in the box, but it looks nice enough to display if you have enough room.

My wife loves this tortilla maker, and our family GREATLY enjoys the fresh tortillas thanks in part to this simple machine. The only thing that has surprised my wife is how much effort it requires to fully flatten the dough-balls. I don't mind helping her, though. Just be aware that you need to push the handle down hard in order to squeeze the dough.Overall, love it, though.

This is such a great press! I use it for so many things besides tortillas…so great for empanadas too! It’s very well made and sturdy. Easy to assemble and store away. I read many review on various presses and am so glad I chose this one.

This tortilla press is perfect! The design is absolutely adorable! The weight of the cast iron is perfect for pressing, but definitely has some weight to it. It seems to be of good quality cast iron. I like how the arm detaches for easy storage. You also receive parchment paper slips which are great! For an entire batch of tortillas, I was able to reuse one sheet, and you get a bunch! Sooo worth the money! If you are on the fence about this press, I highly recommend 👌

Pay attention to reviews that show how fast this thing breaks. While attractive it is cheaply made product that broke on first use. The packaging is well done and protects the product well giving the impression that it’s of higher quality then it actually is… disappointing.
