This collet is a nice option for your Bosch colt router. It fit my PR20EVS fine, but there are a few differences. The nut is longer than stock, and it appears to be of better quality: the machining is more refined, particularly the threads, and it looks heavier. The collet itself is shorter than stock. Threading onto the router was fine, and the collet gripped a test bit just fine.

As a professional woodworker for 40 years, I know that router collets do not last forever, they do need to be replaced every couple years feven for home woodworkers. So when I saw this set of two replacements for my Bosch Colt router, I decided to try them out.They do fit the Bosch Router, and will hold a router bit. But the first thing I noticed was that the collet inside the nut was not properly polished smooth on either unit. The collet has to be smoothly compressed by the nut pressing it down into the router shaft in order to properly hold the bit.These literally felt like there was sand in the parts as I hand tightened them. I have no faith that they will safely hold the bit, and if they do not, the bit can slip, ruining the part I am routing as well as the bit itself.You should replace your router collets regularly, but these are not the replacements you want. I will not be using them in my shop.
