Had to use a small 1/16 inch washer with a 1/4 inch center to seat the collet. Now that I have three spare collet nuts, I will probably find the original on the shed floor. The collet nut was a lifesaver, as it allowed the use of the trimmer to complete the project.

As someone else stated, these must be from the reject pile. Internal machining is laughibly off center, and is essentially worthless. Returning.Buy from a reputable shop.

Glad to have multiple collet nuts now. I put a different collet size in each one. Speeds up changing router bits when the shaft size is different.

I got tired of struggling with repeatedly changing collets on the single collet nut that came with my Genmitsu 3018 PROVer. Genmitsu brand for the nuts was nearly twice as expensive as these and I cannot even tell the difference by appearance or fit.

These collet nuts fit my small CNC perfectly. I leave a different size collet inside each one, much easier than trying to force out the collet from the nut every time the collet has to be changed.

Item as described, the fit is perfect. now instead of having to remove the collet from the nut to change sizes I just pop on this nut with the second collet and I'm back running in a few minutes.
