Obviously the plug fell out of one of the weights. So they just swept up whatever they could find and sent it along in a baggy. Absolutely useless for calibrating anything! Definitely avoid this seller.

It is a calibrated weight and came in a sturdy plastic container to keep it clean and from being damaged when not in use.

Its a weight...and it weighs 500g. :)Used it to calibrate a small scale and verified with other known weights to confirm it was dead on.Comes in a nice padded cylinder for storage which will help maintain integrity.

I tested this with a calibrated official Rhino Coffee Scale. It is 499.95g - Tried two other generic brand scales and came as 499.95g and 499.97g.

I bought this calibration weight for a scale at work. It's cheap and does the job. I appreciate having this weight to verify scale calibration and it's exactly what I was looking for. The first time I ordered there was an issue with delivery. I cancelled the order and repurchased. No problems with the second delivery.
