It came with a cowhide mallet, however it will not make a sound without a rubber ball mallet which I did have (but don’t like using because it makes a vibration). The sound is good however, but doesn’t hold sound like my other bowls.

I want to be positive while making this comment! So I will follow through with that thought in mindI I give the sound of the bowl an, ‘A!’ It is a good bowl! But then, I opened the boxes, 2 of cardboard and 1 of styrofoam. Just to see a plastic wrapped bowl! That should have included a proper cover. I am so Disappointed! I wish I would have read KayCee’s comment! Before purchasing this bowl! It takes away from the products quality. When, the company that sales a decent sounding item! Doesn’t show pride in their product or presentation. Now I have to go out and purchase a cloth cover! For a good sounding healing bowl! So that I, may convey to MY Clients! I am concerned about their health and how I Present myself! To them. I wasn’t comfortable giving this company 2 stars! That would be unfair. As I am pleased with the Singing Bowl.

I think I overpaid especially since the bowl did not come with a case and it is discouraging since I travel a lot and was looking to bring my bowl along when I travel. Now I have to spend more money for a case and more than likely more bowls that come with a case. I will NEVER make this mistake again.

Beautiful craftsmanship and the sound of each is perfectly on pitch! They added the finishing touch to my meditation room. Awesome purchase! Hate there isn't any bags but I can get those separately!

Great sound/tonality, weird synthetic feeling texture on outside of bowl. Doesn’t feel like my other, more expensive/higher quality bowls, but the sound is Very rich.
