Love my high "C" bowl and it fits nicely with the rest of my C major scale from Topfund. I am a sound healer and use this bowl, and my other seven Topfund bowls, at multiple events each month! I've been using Topfund for over five years and my bowls are still sounding amazing and playing beautifully years later.

I love it so much that I have decided to buy another one. The sound is nice and long-lasting.The only part I am not sure will fit me is the black color. I will use these bowls for my sound bath event, and the light in that room will be a little. We will see how it goes.

I waited 2 months before I decided to review these. I scoured the internet for sound bowls after I did a sound therapy certification. I knew I wanted to add bowls to my arsenal first, but most of them came with a 2k price tag. I saw these black bowls and fell in love. But the price tag concerned me. Why were they so cheap?? I probably read every bad review…most seemed to be user error but it did concern me that some people received broken bowls. I decided to add the offered insurance purchase since these bowls were on the cheaper side. I’m not a practicing sound therapist and was just buying them for personal use so I figured if they weren’t “the best” it wasn’t like I was offering that to clients.2 months later I’m so happy with this purchase. I have no issues them. I’ve played them all with a tuner and they’re where they should be tuned. They sound amazing and even my skeptical husband voluntarily lays down for sound baths.I did go buy some vinyl chakra stickers so I could keep the bowls sorted while playing. They came with little papers in them which were fine, but I wanted something attached.If you’re on the fence, I 100% recommend these bowls- even for professional use. If you’re worried about breaks (which can happen with even the super expensive bowls) buy the insurance! I plan to start offering therapy sessions and have every intention of using these bowls. No need to upgrade!I’ve also seen some poor reviews of the carrying cases. I have zero issues with them. They’ve protected my bowls when I have taken them places and have held up well the last couple of months. They are a nice deep purple and have ample storage for everything!Overall great product from top fund!

I'm giving 5 stars because I ordered the whole set of 7 bowls, 6 of them were only sent (1 was missing!!), and 2 of them arrived smashed!Amazon Customer service responded really well to the issue and refunded the missing/broken items.The bowls are great!

Amazing sound quality, very calming and comes with everything I needed - beautiful & useful case (not pictured) complete with compartment for mallet, a bias rubber mallet and also, a rubber base ring. Paid for express delivery & it arrived even earlier than estimated! One of my best buys ever!! Have recommended to a few friends who are also keen after hearing the sound quality!

I left a review of the three bowl set as well and many of the same issues I expressed there apply here.These bowls are an okay deal for the price, BUT they have a few issues you should be aware of, especially if you are a professional sound healer or use them in music.THE GOOD:- The travel bag is wonderful since I do sound baths in different locations. It is sturdy and seems like it will last a long time. The cloth bag is a little difficult to put back on because of the rough texture. I’ve found if I spread it open, place the bowl on the bottom of the inside of the bag, then pull the sides of the bag up around the bowl, that makes it easier. Overall great way to transport them. This is the main reason I chose this brand.- The ring and sustain are lovely, very resonant. The mallets they send are okay, but I highly recommend finding some rubber or silicone mallets to get the best sound.THE BAD:- Even if you select the tuning you prefer (432 or 440), the bowls are not exactly in tune with either scale. My A is 5 cents flat. This is a consistent problem with this brand. Ultimately this doesn’t make a huge difference with my clients, but since I also write and record music with these, I was very much hoping the bowl would be tuned properly. I don’t see the point of advertising different tunings, if the bowls aren’t even in tune the way you advertise.Bottom line: I will keep these bowls and use them for now, but will eventually need to replace them with a more accurately tuned set. Sound healing is not an exact science, but if you advertise your scale is tuned to A-440 or A-432, the bowls should all match that tuning. As someone with over 25 years of musical training (in the US/European tradition), the difference is very noticeable.
