Used this at Gulf Shores State Campground. We were not in the ideal spot for sun. We got sun in the afternoon until the evening. Definitely does block the sun. Easy to put up. 1 person can do it.

First, this does work to cut down the amount of sun and radiant heat you receive when behind the shade. So, happy with that. Second, while I was concerned that the length would be too short to reach the ground, as my 5er Reflection's awnings are kind of high, the length was perfect, coming about 10 inches from the ground. Just the right height to stake in using the supplied cords and stakes. They are nice, hard, beefy plastic stakes, not the cheap, thin metal ones. Looks great as well. Just ensure you select the right size for your awning and you'll enjoy this patriot sun awning as well!

This was a life saver! Effectively blocks the sun and keeps the area under the awning cooler. Easy to put up in the awning and the material seems pretty sturdy. The one we got was a few inches short on each side, it was quite a bit cheaper in price than the one that would been an exact fit and it was fine! I’m so glad we have this!

The screen fits perfectly and is easy to install with the aid of a short step stool. The mesh is very high quality and is swewn together very nicely. It blocks the sun very well. I would highly recommend using a good set of tie down straps for the awning in case the wind kicks up unexpectedly. Very happy with the purchase.

Does a good job of shading the awning area, easy to install. Had to get the 9' tall version to get close enough to the ground to stake. Does roll up in the awning but, because of the height have to fold up two feet and use velcro strips to hold fold in place while stowing the awning.

I purchased this item the last week of September and used it for the first time. I read the instructions on installation and it recommended two people to install. However, I go camping by myself and my little yorkie (who is the supervisor). I found it rather simple and easy to install by myself. Once you start to feed it into the channel, it will move along across as you continue to feed it in. One recommendation.... I am 6'2" tall and still needed a step stool to reach up to the end of the awning to feed the screen into the channel. I recommend using one of those foldable 3 step-stools (based upon your height of course).Once I get it installed, it looked great. The material is actually pretty thick and sturdy, you can tell its NOT a flimsy screen. The photo's show it just hanging, which i recommend if there is a breeze or a light breeze. It comes with four plastic stakes and bungee cords so that you can stake out the bottom of the screen.I had the sun moving east to west facing the screen and it filtered out enough of the sun that i was able to see and use my laptop screen. So it was a success!If you have to roll your awning in at night once the screen is attached, you can! The screen rolled up fine with my awning at the campground. However, there was about 12 inches of screen left hanging after the awning was rolled up, which is just fine. I do not recommend traveling like this. I would only roll up the screen while at the campground.When I was ready to packup and leave the campground, it was even easy removing the screen. I literally just pulled it out and it slid out effortlessly. Folding was easy and it folded into a very manageable square.So, this is my review of this shade screen after the first use. I am very happy of the entire product and i am happy to recommend it. Hope this review helps you out.

First I will talk about the actual sun shade. It works fantastically. Our deck out front of our camper faces west, so it would get very hot in the evenings. It feels at least 10 degrees cooler. It is also much thicker and sturdier than I thought it would be. Well made! It took under 5 minutes to install, very easy. Just slide the cord through the a lot that is already on our awning, and when you roll the awning back in, the shade rolls up into it. I am loving this product! I should have gotten it years ago.Next, the customer service. It is outstanding! We got our shade as a Christmas gift. It sat in our garage until May when we got out camper out of storage. I got some bad information and ordered the wrong size shade. It was now 4 months passed the purchase date. It was totally my fault. I ordered wrong size and I didn’t check to see if it would fit. I emailed Tentproinc and assumed they would just say, “too bad, you should have ordered the right size.” And they could have. I got a response, on a Saturday, within 2 hours. It was from the owner, Michael. He explained that they could not take it back, but would give us a discount on a new one. I don’t know if he wants me to advertise how big this discount was, but it was substantial. Ordered the correct size online on Wednesday and it was at my door on Friday. He emailed me 5 separate times to make sure that I received discount, received product, and was pleased with product. I highly recommend this product and company.
