These work great. I needed an extra protection from a small porch and these work great. You do need two people to start the putting up the first one but then the rest goes well. I had ordered two sets of these. I would buy them again.

I cannot speak to the durability of these overhangs because o didn’t put them up. I was pretty excited to get these for my she shed, however when they came in they were smoke gray, not transparent. I don’t want them sticking out in throwing off the design of my shed. Also, the brackets are plastic and where I live we get hurricanes. That’s not a very promising outlook for these overhangs. I cannot not recommend these.

This review is for the 2PC Window Door Wall Frosted Canopy, 15.8 x 23.6 Inch Door Shelter Window Cover Window Awning PET for Sun UV Rain Shelter Front Door Canopy Garden Outdoor Patio Protection.I was intrigued as soon as I saw these on offer and grabbed them. The house I used to live in had the nice deep good quality metal awnings over all the windows and they're really nice to keep the house shaded from the sun during hot weather to keep the house cooler and it prevents UV damage (the sun fade effect) to items inside. Also helps prevent rain from getting in should you leave your windows open and not be home or at night if it storms.I'm a woman and I had personally mounted those big awnings myself with my daughter helping to hold them up, this was prior to my back injuries. There is no way I could do that now LOL. So these awnings are much lighter weight and should be much easier to put up. I'll have our handyman put them up for me though as I don't have anyone here to help me now. I'll have to get some silicone sealant to use at the back.We have a pretty good amount of roof overhang here at this house, so the windows are protected well with the window AC units in them, except for the one in the garage window. I have turned the garage into my she cave/office since I work completely remotely now. I have been concerned about water getting in there, so this polycarbonate canopy panels are the perfect solution to protect it!I'm not worried about shade from the sun as that is the east side of the house and only gets the morning sun. The only thing I might be worried about with these is the snow load where we live since there are no support brackets. But I'm sure my handyman can fashion a frame out of treated 2 X 4 and mount it, should be no issues then.Really happy with these overall, they seem well made and of good quality and should work well. For the regular price $54.99 per the listing they're a nice economical choice. I had checked with a local company who makes/installs window awnings, carports.... and trust me when I say this is WAY cheaper than the price I was quoted from them just for the single window awning and installing it!As always I only do honest reviews and will update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

"These 2 Door Canopy Adopt The No Support And Sleek Curved Design Which Provides a Minimalist And Modern Look"As you can see in my pic that just isn't true. The plastic brackets were part of the package.I understand that maybe the reason this doesn't have better supports like a reinforcing plate for mounting would be for aesthetics but if that is the case why use silver/chrome bolts? The smudge you see in the pic is due to super glue. There was a lot of flop between the brackets and canopy. I didn't trust it to last so I chose to super glue to eliminate that flop. With only 2 bolts per section and no reinforcing plate I don't expect these to last through our spring storms. I'm thinking a hinge mount might actually be better. At least then they would go with the flow. The smudges seen in the pic are the least of it. The silicone in the connecting strip is worse. Some self adhesive would be better.

This is so handy for those of us who don’t have porches! It’s quite sturdy once installed correctly, and blocks out all of the rain. I do wish it were a tad wider, but it does the trick. Installation was a little bit harder than I was expecting, I did have to get some help, but if you know your way around power tools it shouldn’t be too hard (I’m not much for DIY projects, so I got some help, but I’m also a complete novice and didn’t want to mess up the exterior of my house). It looks pretty unobtrusive, which I like, and you hardly know it’s there unless you’re specifically looking for it. I’m so happy with this awning, it’s just what I needed above my front door!
