Adapter seems solidly built and the finish looks durable. Metal thickness is pretty good, although not as thick as brand name ones we have used in the past (i.e. Rab). Note the finish is black. Includes screws for securing the adapter to the top of pole.

Having already installed a 4" diameter galvanized pole for a shoebox light I needed something to mount the light to the pole. This is it.The 20' pole is buried in the ground 3' and anchored with 1 cubic yard of concrete. That leaves me 17' of pole above ground and should provide plenty of light coverage.This Tenon Slip Fitter attaches to the pole easily/solidly and the build quality is very good. The welds are solid but they make no mention of what steel is used or what this is coated with. I think this information should be included in the description - but it isn't. I will be putting a couple of coats of clear paint on it for extra weather/rust protection - just because I'm not fond of going that high up on ladders if there is an issue.I see this as a good deal and a good value. Easy to recommend.
