This is a very simple product, and there is not much to say here. It looks great, and is very sturdy. This is not a cheap piece of bendable plastic. If you need a cross arm (or ladder rest) for a lamp post, this will fit the bill. I assume if you are looking at this you either need a replacement for an existing lamp post, or you want to add a cross arm to a lamp post that does not have one. A major flaw in the Amazon page is that they don’t tell you the diameter of the arm. This is a critical piece of information, whatever your intended use is. The arm is ¾ inches in diameter. That means it does not fit through a ¾ inch hole. If your hole is ¾ inch, you will have to file or sand it a little larger, so it can receive the arm.
