This kit was a perfect fit for my 1986 Alpha 1 Gen 1 outdrive, the gaskets are different from the Alpha 1 Gen 2 and so I was concerned about their fit, but the kit has all of the correct gaskets needed to replace and service my Alpha 1 Gen 1 outdrive and the quality of all of the part is all excellent! Thank you!

I give it a 5 because product and delivery were on the money. Already in use. I just wish it had set of instructions, this set apparently applies to more than one type of pump, hence all the extra parts.

fit my 1991 200hp 2.5l v6 perfectly. I used the factory Mercury manual and a few YouTube videos for the process. the 18.75" 1/2" copper pipe from gear case to powerhead was bent and deformed from "professional" mechanics doing my engine service in the past, so I cut/beveled a new piece of "M" 1/2" copper pipe left over from a remodel job and all is now perfect.the 5 year old impeller I removed was still flexible, I will remove this one in 2/3 years or if I see a drop in water psi on my guage.

Did not fit my out drive, cost me time and money. According to the description it should have fit my unit, but was totally wrong.Amazon's return system is good (never used it before). but still costs shipping and time to repackage.

This impeller kit provides everything the DIY mechanic requires to complete the job. The quality of the parts is excellent. The only items not included are the pump housing which is replaced on condition, and the gear case oil. Good Deal! Recommend!

OK kit if the upper and lower plastic pump housings are in good shape. Regardless of this, even the full kit which includes new housings does not include two very important seals that reside under the pump. These two oils seals stop any water from entering the gear case and are so stupid-easy to replace while installing this kit, that (in my opinion) they should have been included...
