Works really well. Only negativeis that the tip is made of plastic.Cannot leave to close while heatinglead solder up. It will melt the tip.It would be a 5 star if the tip wasmade out of ceramic.

These work well with one hand, leaving the other for handling the soldering iron. Usually the solder bits get magically ejected but I had to dismantle it once to clear a clog. It's nice to know I have three as they are not built to last. I'm still on the first one, using occasionally to remove excess solder in working with stained glass.

Worked perfectly for desoldering switches off my mouse motherboard. Was amazing!Good for cleaning up a lead and getting rid of stray solder. Better than braid in my opinion!Its a bit awkward to get used to how to hold it and fire the suction off with just one hand, but it’s very good. Suggest a set of helping hands to hold your workpiece.

It worked for me fairly well. It takes a couple of times sucking out the solder to actually have it work. For the price, it's worth it.
