As another reviewer commented, the threads in this T-slot nut do not go all the way through. T-slot nuts are manufactured either as through threads or as stopped threads. Each serves a purpose, with through threads probably being more common. In this case, I assumed that it was a through thread as that is what I need for my purposes. The description on Amazon said nothing about it being a stop thread. Therefore these are of no use to me. I’m giving two stars as I hope to be able to remount the threads all the way through myself. The fit and finish are good on this item, and if I’m able to tap out the remainder of the threads, it will work well for my needs.

The threads on these do not go all the way through. If you need to run a bolt all the way through then the bolt will stop about 3/4 of the way through because the threads are not cut all the way. After pointing this out was sent replacements and those were the same way.
