Have bought this same Te-Co t-nut from other websites and never had a problem with them being only partially threaded.Ordered a total of 300pcs through Amazon and every one was only partially threaded.

The nuts that I received were not threaded all the way through. Tried to finish the thread, but these are hardened steel and broke the tap. I wasn't able to use these for the purpose I ordered them for because they were not fully threaded.

For some inexplicable reason, the threads don't go all the way through the nut. This leaves only about 2 threads for the bolt/stud to "catch", unless the bolt/stud is bottomed-out in the nut. Two threads is not enough to hold any serious clamping load, and bottoming-out the bolt/stud will ensure the load will be unevenly distributed across the threads since the bolt/stud will wind up being slightly cockeyed (not in-line with the axis of the hole) when you do that. Since they're hardened, re-threading them yourself is not an option. Not recommended unless the design is changed so the threads go all the way through.

When I went to use them I discovered that the threads do not go completely through the T-nut. The #7 hole is drilled for them but the tapping of the threads is incomplete. The steel is hard and I couldn't finish tapping the hole. This product is a complete waste of money.

For those that are giving a low rate because they are NOT threaded all the way through, please note that is intentional. These are for holding down work on a machining mill or drill with a slotted table. If the bolt could go all the way through it could contact the base of the table, and instead of pulling the work piece down, it will jack up and damage the table. If you need it all the way through run a tap through it to complete the threads.

Threads were 1/4x20, but undersized - poor quality control - not usable. Really disappointing considering they came from Small Parts
