These slot in nicely in my aluminum extrusions making them ideal for modding 3d printers and such. The big draw here is the spring loaded ball bearing meaning these nuts won't slide out of place when you move the extrusion.

These are clearly not as high quality as the other M8 T spring nuts I have. It's easy to confirm that just by looking at the finish, which is spotty, uneven, and maybe not all that permanent.That said - they absolutly do the job I wan't. I'm not building structures where people get hurt if there's a failure though. I might hesitate using these if t-nut failure would lead to injury. That's not my use case. As such, these are good enough. They might be as strong as all the others, but I don't have a testing lab on hand. All I can do is judge 'em by what I see - sketchy finish.

These are made pretty well with no rough edges or burrs. The spring is adequately sized and they really do pop in from anywhere. I used these with some 1.5" I had laying around. I will be ordering some series 40 for an upcoming project and will get to use these with both profiles.

These tnuts were used in 4080 and 4040 extruded aluminum with various M8 bolts for a simulation rig.The tnuts grab well and hold their location, thanks to the spring loaded bearing.The tension of the bearing is strong enough to hold an M8 25mm bolt, but still glides along the slots in the extruded aluminum for placement. (see picture)The case they come in secures well.Would get more when I use all of these.

These are well made and are of a quality build. I am building myself a Rail Bike and these will work just fine. In my application, I am using Series 40 Extruded Aluminum with M8-1.25 Fasteners. These Spring Loaded T Nuts will serve to easily secure my design.Cheers 🍷

I ordered these as I had a project that required a M8 tee nut for use in a 1.5 inch 8020 extrusion.I cannot comment how well it fits in a 40 series extrusion (I don't have any on hand).That being said, the nuts fit well for my application. The one thing that I would note is that the shoulders are a little shallow which makes the nut not stay in the channel as well as I would like but does so well enough.Pros:- Easy to insert into the extrusion.- Stays in place without effort.- Threads are clean and well formedCons:- The shoulders are a little too shallowOverall, I would purchase more of these if I have a need.

These "roll in" style nuts are incredibly handy for making structures from aluminum extrusion that has those T tracks along the length. This particular set is a great value, and they "roll-in" from anywhere along the length (really valuable feature if you dont have access to a free end). Also nice that there's a spring-loaded bearing to help hold them in place. Only caution i have is that these seem to be properly sized for use with 1.5" extruded cross section. They only just BARELY can hang on to the edges of the channel in 40mm extrusion (see pics). I think they would *probably* work on 40mm, but they are harder to position without popping out, and im not confident that they wouldnt splay the channel open and pop out anyways. Happy to recommend these for anyone using 1.5" 8020 extruded aluminum profile.
