For a product in this price range, one would expect it to be nearly flawless. As you can see from the photo, the slats are not symmetrically assembled. The mat also has a little more flex than one might desire (I weigh 185 lbs and the flex is noticeable). We'll see how the finish holds up over time, and update the review accordingly.Good product, overall, but the unevenly-spaced runners are an irritant.

I love the look of this floor mat and the teak wood is just beautiful. I am actually using it on my screened patio and it is the perfect addition to my decor. This mat has been very durable so far and it dries very quickly and does not leave any evidence of water staining. I would recommend this floor mat for anyone looking to add natural wood to your decor.

I like the fact that it sets up higher than a regular bath mat and keeps my feet out of water that naturally pools around your feet when you're taking a shower the only thing that's a little concerning is you have to get used to it that you're stepping up a little bit and stepping back down when you're used to walking around in the shower on a bath mat but the quality is good the appearance is nice and I would say it's worth the money

I was very skeptical about this mat, I could see my shins turning black and blue as it flipped up when I did not step on the right spot on the mat. I did not think that the wood would be all that great, I mean, teak is a really nice wood so how great could a shower mat be? Well, as it turns out this shower mat is gorgeous! The teak has just enough gloss to give it a beautiful appearance, the wood surface is beautifully sanded, and the edges are, while still "corners", the corner's edges have been softened; very important when walking around at night! The mats do take some getting used to because they are not in that space where you don't have to pick up your feet, however, the adaptation was easy and faster than I expected. Underneath, the screw heads are covered with the rubber "feet" and they make the mats totally nonslip. When wet, the wood does not become slippery, an important question where an oily wood is involved. The shower mat is surprisingly light given the solid wood that they are made from. One thing about this mat is really special and that is that you don't have to give it a second thought, the floor dries very quickly under them and there is no need to wash them in the sense of putting them in the washing machine; a little bit of soap and the shower and the mat is clean.Floors in bathrooms tend to be lighter colored and the resulting contrast is beautiful and ties really well with greens and probably, any high contrast combination of colors. A brightly colored abstract shower curtain fits surprisingly well with the colors of the teak. The mat takes a minute to get used to, however, once you are used to it, the mat evokes an image of an exotic, tropical locale and of warm breezes. I really think very highly of this mat that eliminates the need to store multiple mats or change them constantly and I hope you will get a chance to experience one in your home.One very important thing, check your bathroom door, if it opens anywhere near the mat, make sure that it will clear the mat because, just like with one's feet, this mat needs a bit more vertical space than a conventional mat.
