While this is a quality teak shower floor board be advised and warned the black rubber feet will break down and leach black oil stains onto in-contact tiles with the rubber feet. Our solution, after the staining happened, was to replace the black rubber parts with clear rubber parts. No more oil staining other than the existing oil stains from the original rubber feet.

Much bigger than I thought which is my bad for not measuring. The reason for 4 stars is just to make note that hair and dirt easily gets trapped in the cracks and is a pain to clean each slat.

Large, heavy and beautiful. However I stepped on it and it broke. I’m not huge, okay defective. Attempted to send it back, contacted seller, authorized return, paid for shipping and package got returned due to business moving. Contact seller again, not our fault it’s Amazon’s but take a picture and we will refund. They refunded the money after sending a picture but all the extra unnecessary for not updating Amazon on YOUR new address

For reference, I am an average 135lb woman. The first time I stepped on it (actually getting into the shower rather than out), just after taking out of the box, it snapped in half! The support beam underneath failed and the entire top fell inwards, cracking. Completely unstable. DO NOT waste your money on this! This product, in no way shape or form, is worth $80. Not safe for families, I cannot imagine slipping on this.

This is the highest quality/sturdiest teak shower matt for sale on Amazon in this price range. I purchased and tried a few matts to see which one fit best in my stall shower. I found the manufacturing quality of competitors to be dubious, and a vast gap in finish and manufacturing quality between them, despite the $80 price range for all (for identical size). I highly recommend this shower matt.

The most important thing you want to know about this product is that it really will keep you from slipping and/or falling in the shower. In addition, the bonus is that it is really great looking and it's top quality. Yes, I know it is expensive, but you get what you pay for. Falling is extremely expensive. If you buy this product, you will not be sorry. In fact, you'll be writing a review similar to this one. I gave only 1 star below for suction power because it does not have suction cups on it. It does not work that way.
