It achieves the world's smallest size and lightest weight, coming in at 5.9 in. long with a maximum diameter of 77mm, and weighing just 20.5 oz. With special emphasis on resolving power, Tamron has deployed special lens elements appropriately arranged to correct chromatic aberration, generally very strong in a telephoto lens, as well as other aberrations. Users can enjoy high-resolution images combined with the stunning bokeh qualities that are achievable only with a telephoto lens. The lens also incorporates the RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) unit, a high-speed precision AF drive system that is remarkably quiet. The 70-300mm is a versatile lens for photographing landscapes, sports and other action, pets and wildlife and more. The lens also demonstrates its potential for portrait shooting, casual snapshots and scenarios that require you to be mobile and shoot handheld, like sporting events. With the Nikon Z-mount version, users can employ the dedicated TAMRON Lens Utility software. This feature enables users to easily update the lens to the latest firmware themselves, without going through the camera. On the firmware information screen, users can confirm that their lens has the latest version and perform an update if newer firmware is available. Designed for full-frame, the lens is at home on APS-C mirrorless cameras and provides a 105-450mm equivalent field-of-view.

Even though it is an inexpensive lens it is sharp & I get good results from it.Wish it had anti shake (lol) in the lens but it is still a good lens & not too heavy.

This lens is sharp, compact and lightweight. If you have Z8 or Z9 or Z6iii maybe, you will be happy with autofocus and image sharpness. Other old bodies you will be disappointed, many pictures are out of focus.Best lens for travel and everyday casual photography.

I’m not a pro photographer, and I was searching for a budget-friendly option with a good focus range. I came across this lens. At first glance, it may not have crystal-clear sharpness, but overall, it gets the job done. It’s among the best lenses in this price range. Being plastic, it’s lightweight. I recommend giving it a try; it won’t disappoint you, but don’t expect miracles.

In the limited time I have used this new lens, I’m very pleased with it. It’s light and operates quickly and quietly. A travel pouch would be ideal and isn’t included.I’m happy with this for my Nikon ZFc and feel that the size and weight are appropriate for this compact camera. .

I like that ability to zoom with the lens. Focus is a little slow for sports. But for the price it’s a good lens.
