I like the tool it seems to be doing the job it's a little quirky but putting those connectors into the quarter inch tubing can be really squirrely doing it with just your two hands in addition to making them very sore if you have arthritis. Just got this tool and I like it I haven't tried the little washer trick yet I'm going to do that next week when the rain lets up we can get the rest of our irrigation and drip equipment squared away in the yard Will update at that time

The product worked ok for the first few times and then stopped releasing the tubing and returning to the open position. The only way it will open after insertion is to set the moving part on the edge of a block and pushing very hard. It will then pop back to the open position. I’ve contacted the manufacturer but have yet to hear back from them.

I feel like for the price it should be made a little beefier, it works and haven’t had a problem with it except for the 90degree and T fittings being somewhat of a pain to keep lined up

This is a handy gizmo for repairing, adding irrigation lines. It takes a little figuring to connect line to line with a straight connector, but I figured it out. The directions lack that info. It's perfect for spray/trickle heads etc. I've used it for a couple of repairs and it made the job so much easier.It's worth the price to have. Even for occasional repair and extending irrigation tasks.

I used to install all the connectors by hand until I found this. It saved my fingers and time. Its versatile and practical. Highly recommend it. My favorite tool in the garden.

i've only used it for a few minutes, but it seems pretty good. almost certainly superior to the DIG 16-066R Barb Insertion Tool.confused about TG (700010) vs TG-4H (700011)? me too, tbh. and i read the literature and watched the vids. best i can figure, TG-4H is the more capable tool, and luckily that's what i received. only difference on my TG-4H is that the removable piece is orange instead of black like in the pics.it appears to be pretty well made. even though it's plastic, it looks like heavy duty glass-filled nylon (at least the black parts?)i tested it with 1/4" (quarter inch) and 1/8" (eighth inch) poly tubing on the 7mm and 5mm settings, respectively, and it worked on both.
