I have been using rain Bird drip irrigation in all of my beds. I just didn't need the massive system and all of the gizmos that came with rain Bird and at this price point I decided to try the 96 ft setup. This was far easier to set up than rain Bird. It took me way less time. That being said, there are some limitations. I don't like that I can't purchase additional couplers. Once you are out of the connectors that bring the hose together you can't add anymore. Unfortunately I needed at least four to six more so I'm short. I will end up having to move the drippers from plant to plant on alternating days. I looked in their store and do not see an option to purchase more. For people who complained about leaks, all you have to do is readjust the hose into the connector. Every week I had was solved by reinserting it or wiggling it in a little more firmly. I like the two options for the bubbler and the sprayer. If you wanted a very strong spray going straight up in the air, you could do it with this setup. My dogs thought it was fun to drink out of it as I was setting it up. The water pressure in it is great. I was able to adjust it down to what is the same as a drip or trickle setup in rain Bird. One of the best things about this setup is that the connectors freely spin. So if the hose is going in different directions and your smaller hoses need to go in different directions to plants, the connector freely spins. The rain birds do not. Once you puncture the main hose to put in a drip line, the rainbird system isn't going to move and this often can cause small leaks because it is so inflexible. That being said I have no idea how this system will hold up. I'm on my second year with the rain bird. I pulled them all in for the winter because I live in the Midwest. I label the different garden systems and put them in a giant plastic bag and seal them. I rolled them back out this spring from last winter and they were just fine. Sometimes getting them into the right spot for the right plant is a bit tricky but it's not a big deal. This is where I think this new system will actually outshine the rain bird. Those rotating couplers are fabulous. If I find a way to purchase extra couplers so I can get more water to all of my plants and not have to alternate I will upgrade my review from four stars to five stars. Not being able to add on without purchasing another set is a bit ridiculous.

This kit is very well made and and easy to set up. But a major weakness (for me) is that it only has one two-way adapter to connect the "1/2" tube to a garden hose. This is making it impossible to connect an irrigation branch to a second garden hose in a different part of the house. The "1/2" hose is not a standard irrigation hose in that the inner diameter is only 3/8" and the hose it hardened and cannot expand, so it does not fit on conventional 1/2" fittings. They should not advertise it as 1/2" because that is the outer diameter, not the inner diameter. I have tried to figure out how to contact the company to (gladly) buy an extra garden hose adapter, but so far have not been able to find any contact information on Amazon or in the minimal literature in the box. The seller address listed on amazon is in Chinese?!? If this kit only needs to attach to one garden hose, it is a solid 5 stars. Unfortunately, limitations for me to one garden hose gets it only a 3 star review. If I can figure out how to get an extra adaptor, I will change to a 4 or 5 star review. In the mean time, I am still debating whether to return it.

Very nice that this set comes with all you need to set up a little sprinkler assembly. What you want to add is one of those battery operated garden hose timers to automatically water your flower beds and scrubs. The connectors are basically work like the sharkbite slip on connections. The two items I wanted to mention that were less than super perfect are the "Y" connector has a little drip while my sprinklers are on. And the thicker hose is a bit stiff. However its really kink resistant because of that and I like that very much. I was able to set up all my flower beds and pots around the back of my house with one segment going over to my shed and watering a bunch of things there. I used two packs. The best part of this system its the ease of use. Setup was about 2 hours for everything. I thought it will take much longer. Very easy and simple and the heads work great. The little bubbler and sprayer are adjustable. So great to adjust for different water usage of the different plants. Great value and a great alternative to a professional installed sprinkler system that cost a fortune. It can be easily modified and each component can be replaced if needed. I this holds up in the elements its an ideal do it yourself set to get your landscaping what it needs. ?It deem really well designed and I expect it to be usable for quite a while. With a bit of attention I can imagine using it for a few years. Would be nice to have a show with parts where I can additional items. But at this price I would not mind getting another set for extras if needed. Very happy so far. I will update the review in a few months.
