We are in the process of remodeling a few apartments that I am considering renting to senior citizens. My mom has one of these and told me to try it to see if this will be beneficial to purchase for the apartments considering I'm renting to elderly people. I am convinced now that this is the ticket for stress free usage and seniors that may possibly need help with getting back up. The bone color matched the layout of my bathroom and the height is ideal for our application, and also the price is reasonable.

I purchased one of these toilets and was so impressed with the quality, that I purchased another for the other bathroom two weeks later. I did experience a small problem with the water control valve in one of the toilets, but it was resolved by contacting the vendor. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!

The first toilet was cracked. But the replacement toilet was shipped promptly and is now working well. However returning the first toilet was difficult because it weighted 70 lbs and I had to take it to the closest UPS store. They did not office a pick up service.

I suppose if I am going to take the time to write a review, it might as well be on our new toilet. Whats so great about a toilet? It is tall enough so its easy on and easy off! We couldn't find an elongated tall toilet anywhere in our area...of course Amazon had it! Then it was delivered promptly, and right up on our porch.The toilet is nicely made, doesn't seem to have any flaws, and everything came with it. Which brings me to the toilet seat...its a mystery. The toilet seat has a strange little oval on it, that clicks like it is a switch or something. I thought perhaps it was a light to help "guide" anyone who wasn't sure where to aim in the night. It doesn't light up. I would give anything to know what this thing is for. Anyway, we love the new convenient toilet by Homlylink. Its 17 inches tall.

The other day when I stood up from the toilet seat, and both of my knees cracked. I laughed, but it was an aha moment. Recently I turned 50 something, and have been realizing that my body is in fact getting older and I am not invincible like I was when I was in my teens and twenties. The knee crack got me to thinking of what I could do to keep that from happening again. I looked online and there were lots of people talking about elevated toilets and how they had helped alleviate knee and back pain.I looked up toilets online for the first time in my life and landed on the Homlylink. I read all the reviews and the specifications and was pretty impressed with what I was reading. I was intrigued with the fact that it would be a few inches taller than the toilet we currently had in our master bathroom. I was glad to see I didn't have to settle for white, but could get an off-white color instead. I also saw a few other positives too like it was only 1.28 gallons per flush, the seat was a soft closing seat, and that it was supposedly an easy installation. So with that I ordered the toilet.A few days later a super heavy box arrived with this toilet. There was no way to carry it upstairs on my own, so I opened it downstairs, and brought up piece by piece. Each piece was nicely protected in the box, so there were no cracks or damage anywhere. The necessary tools for assembly were in the box, and the instructions were clear and detailed. Also, the one piece that is always forgotten when replacing a toilet was included, that is the wax ring. I had replaced a couple of toilets prior to this so it wasn't something new to me, but even if I had not, the installation video and instructions will make this daunting task easily manageable.Once installed and being used, I realized just how beneficial the elevated toilet actually is. It is so much easier to get on and off of the seat into a standing position. I will be replacing the other toilets in my home with one of these. The difference between the stand height and elevated height is minimal when you look at just the numbers on paper, but in reality, it makes a world of difference. If you are considering replacing one or all of your toilets, consider trying an elevated toilet.
