That grate has been such an amazing upgrade! I have a fireplace that has a gas starter, and my old grate wasn’t tall enough (standard height 3”), so it actually rested on the line. Not good. So for the past few years I’ve been propping it on top of fire bricks, but moving wood around would cause the grate to get knocked off the bricks, and obviously I couldn’t fix it until the fire was out. This grill is simply amazing with its adjustable height legs, and for the price I simply can’t find anything else that compares.

Only problem is the legs don't go down quite low enough for an indoor fireplace so lots of air flows under causing the wood to burn much faster than normal. We use fireplace as extra heat in the winter and we went through our wood faster.

This fire grate is better than any at Ace or even the big box stores. I put it together myself and it was pretty easy. It looks good and with the legs adjusted for height it allows the smoke to go up the chimney instead of inside the room which was a huge problem for me with my old grate. It looks pretty sturdy too and I expect it will last a long time. AAA+++

This fit into our fireplace stove well.We didn't need to attach the legs.

Surprised at quality and flexibility to fit wood stove. 2 piece design with bolt legs to adapt height are great features.Starting fire very easy-before had to place starter material on metal bottom or on ashes if not removed. Local hardware store had variety of "Metric"at bolts and nuts enabling installing in 2 pieces at best height so easier to remove for cleaning out ash. My stove is very high heat and the grate looks like new. 10 is not high enough.

I have a small wood burner most grates will not fit in it. This grate was in two pieces so I was able to use half of it and it works perfect.

We purchased this to replace our one year old grate from Lowes. Because we wanted to scoop ashes underneath the gas starter pipe we had that pipe raised to about 3 1/2" . This creates difficulty in purchasing a grate with clearance for that height. The Tafeida is a perfect solution to our situation. Assembly took 20 minutes for a 66 year old woman of average capabilities including 2 trips to the garage for the correct size wrench. This appears to be sturdy and we hope this 24" model lasts longer than the Lowes model.

It took me quite a while to find a fireplace grate. Who would of thought it to be so complicated? My first one was purchased from Ace Hardware at a decent price, however, it kept toppling over at the weight of the wood. What good is a grate if you can only put two logs max? This grate had ZERO issues on first light. Handled the weight like a champ and fit just perfectly in our fireplace. I was able to place 4 logs if I wanted to, perhaps even more but found no need to. The aesthetics were concerning at first glace but I quickly dismissed the thought when in place and in work.
