I think the design is fine. It looks great it sizes great but it’s it needs to be heavier. It doesn’t doesn’t stay in place very well or doesn’t stay close to the door and still leaves a bit of a gap I think so.

works perfect on my drafty window, the triangle shape helps block off oddly shaped gaps and it’s heavy enough to stay in place and seal the gap. now how do i get the cat to leave it where it goes!?

This is so light it does nothing for drafts. The triangle shape isn't conducive to the purpose of use. Very low quality in my opinion

A little misshaped out of the box so you need to try to redistribute the sandy material inside. They help with the drafts from under the door but would be better if they had more sandy stuff.

Our front door had a terrible draft, could always feel cold air. This helped stop the draft and made the hall much warmer

This draft stopper is rather nifty in theory. I'm am not quite sure what the big deal is about it being triangular. It bears no difference. A door runs straight across anyway. The material is durable enough and essentially serves as a sandbag cover-up. Stitching of material is good though and has no implications be it on hardwood, carpet, tile, etc. It has fair weight to it and is easy enough to lay at the bottom of the door, covering gaps of up to three inches. That, I think, is what makes it a game changer of sorts. Although it alludes to using beneath any door for noise, smell, pest and light reduction, I think they're really pushing it there. My primary use for this is for the bottom of my front door where, in winter, I experience a cold draft (though since it covers gaps, it works for the purpose of light reduction) . For me, it's for draft insulation only. This should, I hope, make a difference when it comes to heating costs. The loops on either side make no difference to me either - it can be stored easily anyway. I have yet to really test it - awaiting cooler months to use. I think, it says it does more than its intended purpose. Essentially, though, when you go to open or close your door you need to re-place and reposition yourself. Yes, no bending, just using your foot. Big deal. So really not all that great in that regard when you're talking about a front door that will always necessarily open and close throughout the day. In the end, it will be up to you to keep up to putting it back in place. So, all in all, just an okay product. The price of $28.99, is on the pricier end. I have seen similar, if not better, for less online. There is too much fluff around this product in terms of use and its qualities, which are useless and irrelevant. For all the reasons listed above, I am inclined to rate this product no more than 3 stars.
