I usually don't make comments but I have to for this one. I bought two metal door draft stopper for two different doors. One door wouldn't even open after putting it on. The other one had the hallway lights shining through from the bottom holes. I took them off but the glue ripped pieces of my door off. I forgot to take a picture of that. I put caulk in the holes and screwed it back to the door. And now the bottom of the draft stopper doesn't keep the cold air from coming in. Buying these was a bad idea.

I actually bought this for my old place over 2 years ago, but never used it. In the new house, I was having issues with squirrels getting in through the attic, then running up the basement and through a 1.5 inch gap underneath the basement door resulting in them getting into the living space. After buying a crappy door sweep and not feeling satisfied, I remembered that I had this one and decided to give it a try. This thing is SOLID! It destroyed 2 metal dremel discs while I was cutting it to fit. And the adhesive...I was expecting it to be weak and to have to drill so I wasn't overly careful putting it on. Boy was I wrong. It is super strong, so I would make sure your placement is correct before adhering it.With those things in mind, I would highly recommend this item. No rodents are getting through it.

Perfect size for exterior door gap coverage. Easy installation but be aware does not have enough screws to put a screw in every screw hole. Extremely durable and still functional without screwing every hole due to stiff material.

Got this for a dorm room that was having mouse issues due to a 1" gap under the front door leading to the shared hallway. Management office and maintenance were useless so we decided to give this a try. Installed it a couple of months ago and haven't had a problem since. It fit the door perfectly, but even if it didn't it's easy enough to cut with a cheap metal saw. You're going to want to screw it onto the door so plan ahead and have a drill ready - the adhesive strip is good but not good enough to keep it in place if you have a gap like we did that's big enough for mice to get through. Be careful with installation. The edges of the upper metal portion are really sharp. I sliced my finger pretty good when I was installing ours.Good permanent solution that's just better overall than the plastic stick on versions of these things. Highly recommended.

Best to use a handsaw/saw to cut this metal with caution, of course. This was perfect for my apartment, after hearing scratching in the walls above my older Victorian apartments, I freaked and plugged anything that a mouse could fit to rough with rough webbed steel. Then, I realized I needed to secure a small space under the door that had been causing a draft this past winter anyways. It did a great job at relieving the draft, insulating the space, keeping rodents and spiders out. It has a great adhesive strip but I reinforced it with nails in the holes provided. 11/10. FYI: turns out it’s a stray cat taking refuge between the walls. 🤦🏾♀️

Well made and comes with additional rubber sticking out the bottom to trim up. I cut the aluminum down to 32 3/16ths. Fits well but has more holes then screws. Odd the package wasn't torn or ripped but has 5 screws fo 6 holes.

Very sturdy metal, adhered quickly and easily, and does the job. However, it didn't fit my standard door size and I had to manually saw it with a hacksaw to fit, which took a lot of elbow grease since it's sturdy metal. Measure your door before buying!
