The SwitchBot Curtain is one of those smart home devices that just makes life easier. I installed it on my heavy, energy-efficient curtains, and it had no trouble opening and closing them smoothly. Now, instead of manually adjusting them throughout the day, I have them set on a schedule to let in natural light in the morning and close at night for privacy.Setup was surprisingly simple, and the motor is quiet but powerful. The battery lasts a long time, but I have an outlet right next to the curtains where I installed this and will likely go that route instead of the solar panel. The curtain opener also integrates well with other SwitchBot products, making automation seamless. I have it exposed to Home Assistant and it works like a charm!For anyone looking to make their home smarter and more convenient, this is a great addition. Highly recommend!

It's perfect for any household. I often forget that I have it with how little I have to charge it. It is better to buy the HUB for it though as you can run it through your Alexa app after purchasing and installing the HUB. The signal is great and the battery last for months. It opens and closes fairly quickly. It's very durable and the functionality is easy to access. It seems a bit expensive but you will love it.

The TWO units work well with center open curtains. Instructions for installation were vague. I overcame that by finding YouTube videos that helped. Connecting hub to Alexa was very tedious and time consuming Description in Amazon were not clear about needing two units for center opening curtains and a SwitchBot hub necessary for operation. The $85 automatic WiFi curtain opener ended up costing in excess of $230. Mechanically they work well with my 102” curtains. They are a nice convenience, but at a high cost. I would probably purchase again if I needed the automatic feature in a location I could not reach or if I had a need for my curtains to be opened and. closed on there own at specific times.

First off, my bad, I ordered one thinking what I ordered would open the curtains, especially at the price. I was wrong and even though one of the pictures in the description showed 2, opening the curtains, there is only 1 in the box, so if you have curtains instead of a single curtain, you need 2. My wife liked the present, so I had to order another one. Then, after an hour of setup getting the curtains to look right, she figures out it does not work with Alexa as it says in the big print, you need a hub like it says in the fine print. Now after the setup, over expense and annoyance that it is not at all as I expected when I ordered, every time she opens the app it says she has to disconnect and reconnect because something went wrong. The only reason I have not returned yet is because of what a pain these have been to get to this point, and hoping that whatever the app issue is gets itself worked out. Not likely though I am guessing, very likely a return coming. I feel scammed and hope no one else makes the mistake of ordering these…..great idea, miserable execution and deceptive selling. Very expensive junk.

I wanted to automate my curtains and impulsively bought a device that looked promising. Big mistake! The battery drained incredibly fast, and it struggled to close my double curtains.Learning from my error, I researched thoroughly and found the SwitchBot Curtain 2 with excellent reviews. Impressed, I ordered it for all my windows. I'm thrilled! It's a high-quality product, incredibly easy to install, and I effortlessly paired two units to handle my double curtains. Highly recommended!

بعد شراء وتجربة المنتج وجدت أنه يؤدي الغرض ولكن *لا أنصح بشراءه* لسببين أساسيين وهما:(1) يحتاج إلى الـ hub الخاص من نفس الشركة لكي يعمل مع بقيه أنظمه المنزل الذكي (مثل المساعد الصوتي أليكسا) وهذا يعني تكلفة إضافية وتطبيق إضافي في قائمة تطبيقات المنزل الذكي.(2) السعر المرتفع، وهذا يشمل جهاز واحد لفتح جهة واحده فقط من الستائر، وان كان لديك ستائر تفتح من جهتين فتحتاج إلى جهازين مما يعني ضعف التكلفة.وبشكل عام يؤدي المنتج الغرض الأساسي المطلوب عمله وهو فتح الستائر وإغلاقها يدوياً أو من تطبيقهم الخاص. ولو أردت المزيد من المزايا فعليك تحمل المزيد من التكاليف.

Requiere un hub que se vende por separado para integrarlo a Alexa, sino sólo se puede usar mediante su app. Es demasiado grande/grueso por lo que debe haber bastante espacio entre la pared y el riel de la cortina para que no se atore.

Overall, I really liked this product. It was fairly easy to install with instructions for all types of curtains. It also came with adapters to fit all types of curtains. The app is great, I’ve been running a schedule to open and close the curtains daily, which has been working as expected. The bot also has quiet mode which allows the curtains to open with almost no sound. Connectivity and responsiveness through the app is great. There are two things that I would note: The first is that you have to put stickers with metal strips on the underside of your curtain rod to mark where the bot should stop. The strips are visible at all times when the curtains are open. The second is an adapter that’s needed for expandable curtain rods. My curtain rod is gold and the adapters that are provided our silver. They are also not overly aesthetic in general. I was able to find a workaround without using the adapters but something to note.

Ho acquistato questo device dopo oltre un anno di indecisione sulla sua utilità e sul fatto che funzionasse poi come promesso...Beh. l'unico vantaggio che ho ottenuto ad aspettare e' che nel frattempo e' uscita la versione V3...Per il resto, avrei decisamente fatto meglio ad acquistarlo prima !Funziona egregiamente ed installarlo e' stato un gioco da ragazzi, di una semplicità estrema. Viene fornito con tutta una serie di accessori per ogni tipologia di tenda (pendente ad anelli come nel mio caso, ma anche per quelle ad anelli con tessuto forato, o a bretelle sia strette che larghe...).E' veramente un prodotto ben pensato ed altrettanto ben realizzato.La funzionalità di movimento silenzioso e' veramente impossibile da sentire e se non fosse per la tenda che si sposta, sarebbe impossibile sapere che sta funzionando.Unica piccola pecca (momentanea, perché il Servizio Clienti mi ha confermato che stanno lavorando per risolverla): se utilizzate Alexa, al momento non potete regolare la percentuale di apertura o chiusura coi comandi vocali (bisogna farlo eventualmente con l' App SwitchBot).Se usate Google Assistant questo problema non c'é...Attenzione che per poter controllare il device serve anche un HUB (ne basta uno per poter controllare questo ed altri devices di SwitchBot) ed io per puro caso, e per fortuna, ho scelto lo SwitchBot Hub2, che e' anche un comodo termometro ed igrometro, oltre ad essere un repeater IR (ad infrarossi), col quale posso comandare anche il climatizzatore e la TV (ed ha anche 2 tasti programmabili per poter eseguire comandi o routine programmabili).In un'epoca di prodotti SMART, oserei dire che i prodotti SwitchBot non sono solo SMART, ma addirittura SMARTER !Ben fatto SwitchBot: sono sicuro che altri vostri prodotti entreranno presto a casa mia...
