Not very sturdy due to the 2 piece set. Will have to add more support than instructed by company. May other reviewers said the same about having to add more support

First of all its up and working. Luckily I am very handy and had the hours to finish this product. It’s a two piece slide. Which means of course no matter what I did my kids feel a bump while going down. I’ll see how long this lasts before we suck it up and buy and straight one piece slide with no bump in the middle. Yes you have to grab a 2”x4” and make the support beam for it. The directions were a little unclear but I figured it out. I cannot implant a 2”x4” spike 18” into the ground in my back yard without a jackhammer. Long story. Therefore I’ll have to find a different route when it comes to securing the bottom of the slide. Without of course injuring my kids as they slide. The hardware they sent was absolute minimum for the job. I’m talking about the nuts and bolts used to attach the two pieces. The are very short and it took two of us, a saw, a file, a vice grip, a ratchet wrench, two metal brackets, and some ingenuity to be able to attach the two pieces of the slide together. After all that the kids still feel a bump when they slide. Like I said it’s up and running but for $200+ dollars I would have expected much more.

The slide is pretty good for its price. We mounted on a 4ft wall and it’s perfect. It didn’t come with directions and the holes for the two pieces really didn’t line up, but it only has a few places to bolt, so I figured it out. I don’t mind that I had to build my own support, but the sides aren’t even or on the same angle, which made it difficult to measure and build, but I got it done in a couple hours. They only say to put the one support, but it wasn’t really enough I felt. I looked at other photos and also supported on the top half midway. Much better. I do wish the sides were higher. I will probably add some kind of railing to the top half to prevent my toddler from accidentally going over. He enjoys it, so I’m happy. I send him down and he doesn’t go all the way off. That’s a plus! I think it’s worth the buy.
