SV222 1.25 inch 45 degree diagonal mirror, necessary tool for astronomical observation. When the telescope is pointed at or near the zenith (directly overhead), it allows for more convenient and comfortable observation.

Note:Cannot be used with Newtonian reflecting telescopes.

I purchased this 45 degree, erect image prism diagonal to replace one that simply didn't transmit sharp images. Alas, the images from the SVBony diagonal have noticeably flaring above any bright star or planet. The diagonal will work okay for daytime use, but for astronomy, the optics are poor. I've generally found SVBony products to be of high quality, but this diagonal disappoints.

Piece works as advertised, however it adds a slight magnification vs a regular 90. The Sun fits perfectly with a standard 90 and 34mm eye piece on my 8” cass, but this piece adds magnification making the 34mm zoom too high for the Sun to fit in the FOV.

The overall quality is there. But the locking screw threads did not match and hence was a failure. I didn't mind Buying a TAP and retapping the threaded hole so that the screw would work. But then again China is not Know for quality workmanship. I think China sometimes deliberately adds flaws to their manufacturing because our two societies are to compatible. China is the EVIL Empire with billion man/woman army to back me up on this. Chinese Manufacturing is the worst the world has to offer. Amazon not Building Manufacturing plants to Mimic china Minus intentional manufacturing defects is Amazon Loss. The need only use Chinese logic against themselves.
