It was delivered sooner than I expected. I wanted one with a steel augar this one is steel with a rubber tip , after reading on the internet about the better chorse to have.i closed this one over the one with the plastic augar. I need one that won't fall a part the first use ,the winter here is fair to hard ,this is the show me state.

Throws even heavy wet snow very impressed. Easy to to use. Only drawback is handle is weak bent just pushing in 4 inches of powder. Had to reinforce it.

I have gas, electric, and battery walk behinds and a gas tractor to deal with the 10+ feet of snow we get each winter. I bought two replacements this year for the electric ones - this one and a Westinghouse. i used both today. This snowblower gets down to the asphalt IF the snow hasn't been compressed by walking or driving on it. It would get stuck on tire tracks rather than being able to fly over them like the Westinghouse does. The chute is difficult to turn; I even used some WD40 at the base to help it rotate, but it doesn't move smoothly or effortlessly. I use a 10 or 12 gauge extension cord because of the length of my driveway, but the cord holder doesn't accomodate a heavier, wider extension cord although it's what should be used for a 15 amp machine with 100' of cord.If you are able to move snow before it is compressed by walking or driving on it, if you don't need to turn the chute, and if you have a short driveway where a 25' cord is sufficient then this snowblower will work well for your needs. Otherwise I like the Westinghouse better as it is able to go over tire tracks, hold the larger diameter cord, and its chute rotates easily.

Initially I had some issues with what I got, the seller agreed to give me back my money, so that issue was resolved. As for the product itself.I ended up pursuing the same item from another seller and it works great. We had a significant snow shower so I was able to use it. The shoveling ability is great! And at that price point, it excellent, I completed my driveway very quickly and used the crank to adjust the direction of the snow.

We got 8in of snow and it cleared my drive well. Handle feels weak and shaft to turn blower is hard to turn in freezing weather. But overall is a good product for the price
