My palm diameter is 8.5 so I ordered the large, it is very tight so I would suggest sizing up if you are close to the upper limit of a certain size. They do have the interior glove (finger holes) in these mittens. I wouldn't have purchased them if I knew that, since I was looking for mittens specifically without that because I have a splinted finger and it won't fit inside of the finger holes. If I didn't have the splint, I do like the interior glove style, just wish it had said something in the description so I would have known that they won't work for me right nowThey are well made and seem like they should last a while.

Fit was great . I have small hands. Just waterproof them and your good to go. !!
