My hands get cold easily which is why I use mittens rather than gloves and use them with woolen inserts. I inadvertently left my warm Hestras at a location where I wouldnot be able to get to them for a couple of weeks and bought these as a backup. They come with glove inserts which didn’t work for me as they don’t keep my hands warm, and they were not roomy enough for the woolen inserts to comfortably fit inside. I was able to use them with the woolen inserts, but it was a tight fit. If your hands get cold easily, these would not be the mittens for you.

I bought the extra large to fit wrist guards inside. Palm circumference incl the guard is 11.5cm and fit is perfect

My Brother-In- Law had misplaced his mittens and they went to the first ski weekend of the season. For the holidays I had already purchased Dakine mittens for myself for the trip and thought to gift him this pair of Dakine mittens. He loves the Dakine mittens and uses it not just for skiing but also when he scooters to and from work on his electric scooter. He finds them warm and lightweight enough that he can carry in his pocket. I’m happy finding the perfect gift and will continue to buy Dakine brands since they are consistent in quality and style.

Product arrived quick. Appearance & fit is good. I recall reading something about an inner liner and I was under the impression it could be added OR removed yet I don't see that. I can't really give it a fair review as I haven't used them in extremely cold situations however the mitt seems thin to me and I will be sending it back. I think I need something thicker for my intended use (snowboarding). For a price of $50, I think this is what one can expect.
