RUPTURE RESISTANT
Made from a 210 denier Nylon Fabric with a TPU coating for added strength in all water conditions to ascend without rupturing.
DUAL INFLATE OPTIONS
The bottom opening design, allow for easy inflation with either your regulator or an oral inflator, giving you flexibility in how you use the buoy, the opening seals itself once inflated.
NYLON POCKET FOR STORAGE
It comes with its own carry pocket with a magictape and quick-release buckle locking system that store your reel and clip, and has a plastic clip to attach almost anywhere.
Deploying a marker buoy from depth has its challenges, reel is essential tools for divers, they need to connect a line spool and SMB together to “Quick Launch” deploying.
Our SMB also comes with a durable ABS reel with 100ft (30m) of braided nylon line and 304 stainless steel double-ended bolt clip.

This is a very nice and simple system to let boaters know you are underwater. I've used it for scuba and snorkeling and I'll be honest I feel better knowing I have some visible surface indicators. It also makes it easier for me to find my kids when we are snorkeling.

I got this (obviously) for diving. I will say that I have not taken it on a dive trip yet and plan to soon.That said, I have used other surface marker buoys (SMB) and this one seems to be well made. It is 6 foot tall. When blown up it has a good circumference. My current SMB is smaller in girth (Google says that is the right word :-). This SMB has a wider girth.It has an air value on the side that you blow into to fill it up. Since its a little bigger (e.g. its girth) it required a few more breaths of air to fill it up than my current SMB. Of course if you deploy this at your safety stop, it won't take as much air to fill it. It does have a release valve on the side in case it gets overfilled.The reel that comes with the SMB seems fine. I have not deployed it so I cannot say much about the reel. The SMB does have a built in case for the reel which is nice. You roll up the SMB and then insert the reel into the built in case and its ready to go. It also has attachment clamp to attach it to your BCD.If your diving in the ocean, you really should have an SMB (not sure why they are not required but they never asked me). I will never ocean dive without one. This SMB is probably overkill for a normal/beginning diver but if you want an SMB with a reel, this is a pretty solid choice.

This thing as massive, includes a spool and a quality clip. Holds pressure and looks just as good if not better than my SMB I bought at my local dive shop. As a bonus it includes a small utility pouch attached to the SMB. Would recommend.
