This flag flyer is equipped with a bungee to secure it inside the rod holder, and a Hook & Loop strap to keep the flag rolled up for storage. The screw attachments are all marine grade stainless steel and plastic thumbscrews allow for quick and easy installation of any flag up to 27” tall. Once attached, your flag can swivel 360 degrees around the pole. The PVC pole measures 43" in length, making it the perfect size to store with the rods and durable enough to be thrown in an empty fish box without worry. This kit also features a 100% nylon 20" x 24" red/white dive flag with a metal stiffener to keep you and your loved ones safe and visible while in the water and complying with Florida law for boats at the same time. The flag needs to be on the highest part of the boat, so most people position it in a rod holder on the t-top. For Snorkeling, Spearfishing, Freediving, Scuba Diving, or just swimming in the ocean! This dive flag and pole is excellent quality and sturdiness! It also had a bungee cord to lock in the flag in a pole holder!! Highly recommend.

This is a very well built dive flag that will collapse and easily fold-up for quick storage. I did contact customer service as I accidentally dropped the stiffner poles for the flag into the ocean and received a quick reply for a replacement. Customer service recommends making sure the flag's velcro hole is angled up so the stiffner poles don't fall out the bottom when folding it up. I even rode around going about 20 mph with this up in the air and it didn't bend or break like I've had happen with other flags. I'd say it's definitely worth the money for a solid flag and pole with bungee to keep it from flying out of the boat when moving.

I read a lot of reviews saying that this was easy to make at Home Depot but honestly I don't have time and / or the skill. I've been using this for about 2 years now and eventually the metal rod that holds the flag out when there's no wind broke off. That said, I honestly like it better without the metal rod. Now, I can just wrap it up and throw it in the back of my car. I definitely recommend it for anyone that uses center consoles because it fits perfectly in the fishing rod holder. I would buy again.

Given to my dad for Father’s Day to fly his flags on the back of his fishing boat. Only problem is that he has so many fishing rods he has to take 1 or 2 out to put the flag in. But it’s strong, sturdy and works well

Wow. I've tried just about every crappy excuse for a boating flag/pole and I've had them fly out of the holder, tatter in the wind, corrode, etc. It seemed that there was no way I was going to find a decent, fairly-priced flag and pole.Then I ran across this nifty little invention. Again...wow. The design is simple and brilliant. The metal hardware is all stainless and high-quality. The pole is sturdy non-corrosive PVC. The clipping method for the flag makes it easy to swap out flags - I use the pole with an high quallity American flag that is 20" x 30", which is a great size for this pole and a bigger flag than the other crappy poles can hold. I de-burred the holes where the bungee goes in to soften the sharp edge. I didn't want the edge to cut into the bungee over time. It's a simple mod.2. I replaced the flathead screws that hold the flag in place with thumb screws. This way I can change the flag from the US flag to the diving flag and to my college flag very quickly and without tools.Anyway, the bottom line is that this thing is great and I'm about to buy a second one.

This could have been a really nice flag. Parts of it are really good, but some of the assembly was just bad.The flag itself is large and made of good material. The pole is great, love the safety cord that may save you from losing it in rough seas. The velcro storage strap is also a nice touch.Mine arrived rigged wrong. It's twisted one side, so i had to take it apart and fix it. Also the guide wire that keeps the flag flying even when the wind isn't blowing was all bent and twisted. I took it off and will have to rig some sort of replacement.
