As I have read in other reviews, I found it difficult to open, and it would come loose from the putter usually once a round. It works great for retrieving the ball from the hole, BUT NEEDS REFINEMENT!!! I would love to speak with the manufacturers!!!! The nubs on the double side of the retriever are to big, that is why it is difficult to open, I milled them down with a Dremel, works great now! As far as coming loose, the bottom is convex and doesn't allow it so sit flat or low enough on the putter, I milled the bottom to make it flat, now it screws down nice and tight. Sorry my Dremel work isn't the greatest. PRODUCT WORKS GREAT, BUT DEFINITELY NEEDS REFINEMENT!!!!!

Fits the super stroke grip well. Picks golf ball up fine. I find it easier to just bend down and pick up the ball my self but if you’re tired of bending down to pick a ball up or are incapable of doing so this would be a great addition.

My SuperStroke works for $25 for one unit although stiff and hard to open and close but my buddies No Name Brand works better and easier at $10 for 4 units... A good lesson is don't assume a Brand name product is he best deal...

It folds in and out easily. It does a good job of retrieving your ball and ball removal is easy. It looks nice and I get positive comments about it from others.

The Tool works really well - no difficulty in covering and picking up the ball correctly. When not in use the tool is discretely located and just adds a very small amount to the length of the putter handle. Opening and closing the tool is straightforward and the arms click firmly into place prior to picking up a ball and fold away easily. The only reason I did not give a five star rating is that for the first couple of rounds the opening mechanism was sensitive and clicked open as the putter was being withdrawn from the golf bag. However, I should explain that I do not have a wide dedicated putter holder on my bag; also the pick up tool, after initial use, stayed closed when the putter was withdrawn and opened correctly when required. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Thought I would like it. Easy to install. Not that easy to open. Not that easy to push onto ball with 3 prongs. Have to place inthe exact position or ball will move and escape. After several tries you end up just bending over and picking up the ball. Still attempted to like it and use it. After about 25-30 uses the top broke off the attachment.SO.....I had previously ordered the SuperStroke Ball Pick Up Tool,Black. The 3 prong was difficult to pick the ball up with and additionally it broke in about 3 months. What a joke. SO, I purchased this one (Shu-Ran Golf Ball Retriever, Golf Ball Picker Upper for Putter Grip,Golf Ball Pick Up Tool Suction Cup), and as it states it will not fit the Super Stroke putter, BUT, I cut a couple of 1/4" long slits in it so that it would fit over the Super Stroke grip and then used black duct tape to hold it on... WooHoo, it stays on the putter grip AND you can actually grip the ball without chasing it all over the green, and for a much lower price than this piece of junk.
