I made some compromises here and what was available and in use here are my comments with the less snow we had in Virginia. The units charger is very slow takes almost 3 hours to fully charge it's not a quick charger the battery is a first-gen generic 20 volt labeled with super handy I see many blowers shovels that use the same type of battery to be charged by plugging it in.And use with a light moderate snow in cold weather it does not throw as far as claimed and the 10 in is more narrow than other units it works but of course only throws forward I knew that to keep the weight down. This is claim to be a brushless motor although I hear and annoying rev up and rev down while the unit is working hopefully this will not progress this year or next and make the unit inoperable. Don't know if it is a belt or the motor itself but videos I've seen of this don't seem to make the same sound.Got this at an extremely good price point over 50% off I doubt I would get it versus other units like voltask 24 volt or the Mellif with directional vanes if it was not at that price point.Final thoughts easy to assemble and I like the extension of the main Pole makes it more comfortable.

Great for the elderly and someone that has a bad back It did the trick Was my 1st time using it Super lightweight Super simple The only problem is it doesn't do great with heavy wet snow Go back Behind it with a shovel Other other than that Overall it was OK to use In a pinch Have a bad back Have a bad back and definitely saved my back.

北海道S市で使用。水分の多い重い雪の場合、事前に雪がつかないスプレーをしてもくっついて使えない。通常の雪だと、快適。女の力で持ち上げにくい重い雪で楽をしたかったので⭐️3

This is a godsend if you have back problems. I can't shovel when the snow gets deep. With my Sandy I don't have to. It's light weight for easy carrying. Charges quickly & the charge lasts long enough to finish my entire yard front & back. I would like to be able to adjust the snow throw distance. It takes a little practice so the snow doesn't go into your neighbors freshly plowed yard or driveway & definitely do not aim at your house or car. Could pick up a chunk of ice & crack a window. At 77 yrs old I have no problem using this.

I have a rechargeable snow-blower with wheels from a leading brand, which works great, but it is too big, clumsy and heavy to use for quick clean-up of my steps and porch. I unwisely chose to buy the same company's electric snow shovel as it maintained compatibility with the charger/batteries I already had, but the 12" wide opening, the large, high-capacity battery and the attendant weight and size made the shovel unwieldy and unpleasant to use. I ended up giving that shovel, a battery and charger to my Son and Daughter-in-Law, as they have a smaller driveway and walkway and, being decades younger, my Son is stronger than I am ;)It's still a fine product for their application, but ultimately it just didn't suit my needs, since I already had the snow-blower and what I needed was a small, light-weight, maneuverable snow mover. This product is great. It was actually easier to lift than the cardboard boxes it was shipped in! It's smaller 10" width is much better suited to clearing small spaces with tight corners and even the lower-capacity, lower-power 20V battery was fine for the job, while making the weight and maneuverability far superior. There are some odd things about it--there is a flip-latch (referred to as a "joint-fixing knob") which I don't see actually does anything useful--everything seems well locked in place regardless of this latch (I wonder if it might be left over from a previously unsuccessful approach to locking the handle in place).I also wish there was a way to charge the battery while it is installed in the shovel, however the charging port on the battery is inaccessible if the battery is installed in the shovel, so you have no choice but to remove the battery to charge it.That is really minor stuff for something which does exactly what I need...No, this won't clear your 60' x 20' driveway quickly and easily, but it will clear your sidewalk, porch, deck and paths quickly and easily. As far as those who complain that it shoots the snow out the front only...uhm...yes, that's what most electric shovels do. If you want something that lets you direct the snow in another direction, get a snow-blower with wheels.Quick edit: I saw some comments that it is hard to hold the safety button and press the trigger at the same time. You only need to hold the safety button to start it, then you can let it go. You won't have to press the safety button again unless you fully release the trigger so the shovel stops running. I will say the handle is a bit awkward to hold while keeping the trigger pressed, but I have yet to experiment with the various adjustments which can be made to the handle.
