Love the power. I've only been able to use it on 8" of packed blown in snow at 16 degrees. It does throw snow at least 26 feet, probably farther and does a great job and does it as fast as you can go. I haven't tried it on heavier wet snow yet. The build quality is ok, its weight is mostly in the power unit. A bit heavy for the wife but she likes its power. The handle that clamps onto the boom is lighter duty than I expected. I wasn't able to find any information or replacement parts on the company web site. A number to customer service is provided, I haven't called them yet. If you already have the batteries, you won't be disappointed.

So, this is what it is. A low cost, low quality device that uses Dewalt batteries. We receive 2-3" of somewhat heavy snow and I tried this with 2 Dewalt XR 4Ah batteries. I ran the device for 30 minutes until the device started cutting out and the batteries were 1 bar.Pros:Throws snow 30 feet or moreCan direct the snow left/right/centerFairly lightTakes up little room in the garageCons:Clearly cheap material, the shaft that hold the head on bends and flexes whenever you hit a bumpRolls poorly over uneven surfaces (cobblestone and brick paths are no fun with this thing)Throws snow a lot shorter distance if the fins are pointed left or rightAll in all, I am happy with the purchase, it works as well as I expected and is way better than hand shoveling our driveway. The only big outstanding issue is the motor had a smell coming from it after 30 minutes of use, I am hoping it is just assembly oil burning off and not the motor dying. I did not mark and negative stars for that, as the motor ran fine the entire time.

Update (1/31/2024):Short version - Mellif, the manufacturer of this product, has impressed me with their service and business ethic. They stand behind their products. I will order from them again.Long version - in my original review (below), I noted that the engine would cut out after 1-2 hours use. Over time, the engine began to cut out after less and less time, even with brand new fully charged batteries. I contacted Mellif via their website and asked why this might be happening. The initial response noted normal run time limits. This didn't explain the shrinking run time, so I planned to follow up. I never got the chance. The person handling my question had already escalated it to an engineer on their own initiative. The engineer suspected a faulty engine, and based solely on that suspicion, Mellif offered me a full refund. Mellif would normally have replaced the snow blower, but at the time of my inquiry, their stock was completely sold out. I still think this is a great product. I now think the same of Mellif.Original Review:Highly recommended for walkways and smaller areas like a single parking space. I've been using this product for several weeks now, and that's in an area seeing record breaking snowfall. (see included photo) It has done an astonishing good job for a relatively inexpensive single stage snow blower. This product does not come with batteries - those must be purchased separately. If you have a pair of Dewalt 20V MAX XR Batteries (DCB205), you're good to go. Other Dewalt battery models are also compatible, but that's what I had on hand. I get an about an hour's worth of use out of a pair, and I think the limiting factor is the shovel itself rather than the batteries - the batteries still show charge, but the shovel itself seems to need a cool-down period.I am able to clear a couple hundred feet of walkway in the space of an hour, give or take. That's at a depth up to about eight inches. The shovel might be able to handle deeper snow, but try to avoid letting it get any deeper before going to work. The shovel is light enough to hold off the ground in deeper snow, allowing for the clearing of a "top layer" followed by a second pass to clear the "lower layer" - I've only done this once, but cleared roughly 100 square feet on a lawn area to provide smaller dogs a place to ... (Truthfully, the dogs don't need the cleared space, but owners prefer not having to traipse through thigh-high snow to clean up after their pooches). The throwing capability of this product is 15-20 feet in my experience - depends a lot on how wet or dry the snow happens to be. There are three direction settings, manageable with a manually adjusted handle. These are left, straight ahead, and right. The left and right throwing angle is about 30° off the straight ahead direction. As to the throwing height, I am still able to easily get snow out of the walkways onto the pile visible in the included photo.Bottom line - for the price ($159.00 when I purchased), this is a great product for clearing walkways and smaller areas. I don't know that I'd recommend it for long driveways, because it is likely to need a "cool down" period part way through a sizable job. The need for a "cool down" period is just a guess, but that guess is based on my experience with this product. The snow blower engine will begin to cut out after about 1-2 hours' use. The actual length of time depends on how heavy and packed the snow happens to be. The "cut out" is simply an engine stop - it'll run for a bit, then stop. Changing batteries does not solve the "cut out" symptom, but letting the snow blower sit idle for a while does. I can tell you that this "cut out" symptom hasn't changed my opinion of how capable this tool is. I'd order it again in a heartbeat.
