We used these to protect our garden vegetables during a long spell of 100 degree sunshine. They worked great, allowing enough Sun for growth but not allowing the sun to bake my garden. When the heat spell was over they were easy to fold up and store for next year.

I use this on my high floor balcony when the sun is too hot for my bonsai, good protection. Very light, just the right size, durable.

I can vouch to the effectiveness of shade cloth. We had a heatwave that lasted about two weeks of 90+ temperatures. About a week before the heat wave, I turned off my irrigation for some reason, and forgot to turn it back on. I didn't even realize my irrigation had been off for almost 4 weeks, and during the heatwave. Not only did all of my plants survive, but they didn't have any damage from the heat at all. And they were barely receiving any water. I watered them some by hand, thinking I was giving them a little extra water, but it turned out, it was the only water they were receiving at all.I have tried various brands of shade cloth. I think they're pretty similar, but I like this one the best. I like it because it has finished edges and it seems like a good quality.Pro tip: I have some bamboo poles that are taller than my trellises. My shade cloth was getting caught on the bamboo. Place an empty water bottle upside down on the bamboo stick and the shade cloth will glide right over it and not snag or get caught.

I use them to shade my vegetable during the summer months. It is very easy to install with eyelets on two sides of the rectangle. The other two sides are unfinished so it can be cut into any sizes to cover smaller places, and it doesn’t fray when you cut it.Very good product and good price.

I like how light in weight and easy to fold for transport. Effectively keeps sun glare away, while allows for air to circulate through
