I recently purchased the Royal Shade Mesh Tarp with Grommets to protect my garden plants from freezing temperatures, and I’m impressed with its performance. I use this to help protect my dog from the harsh winds. It is a great product and looks like it will last a long time, the only issue I have are the ties they give you will break in a heavy wind. Just get some heavy duty ties and you will be fine.

We live in a country setting, with woods, outbuildings, lots of firewood I'm always working on, you get the idea. So I go through lots of tarps. My gripe has usually been poor overall quality, such as tearing, holes coming out of nowhere, and poor grommet construction, if they have grommets at all! Then I found this tarp. It has become my go-to for many purposes. It's heavy, very well made, strong, rugged, stands up to the task. I use it often when we have a gathering, to cover a seating area in the hot summer, to cover a stack of firewood I am seasoning and must keep it dry, or to cover a tractor or other piece of equipment from the sun and rain. For the money, this tarp gets an easy 5 stars. Glad I found it - might get another!

I've been looking for a shade tarp this size to cover our new dog pen. There's quite a bit more sun where we placed it than I thought there was. With that being said it wasn't used much this summer. I got the tarp in the Fall and it made a huge difference. There's now enough shade that it can be used at any point of the day. I feel better about all the hawks around and It also kept the falling leaves out. It was a great price ama easy to install.

It a shade tarp!Quality is fair and worth the $13. I use these at parks (I'm a ham radio operator) to shade myself and equipment. They're lightweight and do the job!Be sure to double-check your size and shade % requirements. I use zip ties to tie several together to cover a large area.
