Almost exactly the same as one I had 50 years ago. I bought this so I would have a reliable cooking method if we ever have another 3 day power outage. It makes it viable for a couple to have a charcoal barbecue without using a whole bag of charcoal. I have a gas barbecue never used and this is a good replacement. Being cast iron is a big plus

very nice but mine broke and i am not sure if i can fix but it did great job over all the breaking may have been already cracked from dropping or something hard to figure out a drunk person

I just love my new grill. it's just the right size for one person. the only thing that was concerning was the wood handles scorched when the grill was hot. the handles do not affect the grilling.

I was looking for a small cast iron hibachi. This one fit the bill, and I am pleased with it. There are two manufacturing problems which caused me to down rate it to a four.Some of the holes for the machine screws used to fasten the handles and the grill racks were not properly aligned.Second, the entire grill was painted with what appeared to be a heavy coat of oil based paint. Removing the paint required several firings with charcoal before the grill could be used to cook food.

So very small. Horrible casting. Huge grind marks. Holes and the horrible casting appeared to have some type of puddy smeared on it to help hide the poor casting. Next there are a lot of drilled and tapped Holes with threads. Unfortunately on the casting I was sent many of the holes were drilled all kinds of askew. The part that holds the grate was so off that the only way to put the grate in the holder was to leave on of the screws out. I dumped everything back in the box taped it up and returned it. They or at least the one I got was plain and simple JUNK.

Came very well packed and Quick. Did a burn to seal paint . Then cooked my self a Mixed Grill Very nice full of Flavor and that char grilled taste . Expensive here in the UK but will last Years if looked after .

This little grill is perfect for 2 people. We use it when camping. I like that it is cast iron . Holds the heat & easy to clean .

I really like this small, very sturdy. It is well constructed and arrived well packaged. Dead simple to assemble although it's mostly assembled already. All you have to do is put on the 4 legs, 2 handles, 2 grill supports and the grill handle - 10 minutes tops. Slight moment of panic when I couldn't find a pack of hardware, but all the screws are already in their proper screw holes - remove them and reinstall them on their parts. High quality full color assembly photo showing all parts is included. Easy Peasy.This grill is pretty small, so you are not going to do a cookout for a party on this. However, for one or two people it works great. Perfect for a condo or apartment with a small balcony or porch. And the small size makes it easy to store away somewhere.Some comments here about the coating on the grill which appears to be black paint of some sort. Before cooking any food on this, I burned a load of rocket hot charcoal for a dry run. None of the coating came off or even blistered. After an hour of that hot charcoal, the grill still looks brand new with the coating intact. I grilled a couple of small steaks and none of the coating came off on the meat. So I would have to say that the coating is not only harmless, it is quite durable.
