This is great acid for normal use. Not intended for pool water testing. Needs to be diluted to work properly.

I have tried tried to dissolve 25 grams of copper with at least a 400ml of this and it hardly dissolves anything. It seems to just clean the surface of the copper. It's better to just buy concentrated acid from other websites for about the same price.

I needed this to use as a reagent for titration to find the dKH for my saltwater reef tank. As many said, this is diluted already, but the point of this product is it’s known concentration of acid, i.e. 1M or 2N. I needed know the specific normality to calculate the alkalinity. This 1N was easy to dilute down to what I needed as I was aiming for a 0.01N acid. Test yielded consistent results with this product.
