This knob is a great addition to a bottle jack. It is so much easier to just reach and turn than to try to get the handle on the pins to release the pressure on the jack.The size of the knob makes turning it super easy.I don't know how I lived without this!

Much better than using the pump handle, but not as good as it could be. It is made from good aluminum, and machined well to look professional, but the knurled 'grip' area is actually not knurled. It just has the stripes machined in the surface and they don't really give any extra grip. If you have dry hands, maybe, but I am working with my 20 ton press, and there is usually plenty of oil on me, the press, and the parts I am working on.It's good, but it just needs some more attention to be great.

I thought this would be too small to be useful on a bottle jack valve, but it’s much bigger in person. It’s easy to install and works super well. For sure a must have add on! It is very well made and is knurled for easy grabbing.

It is a simple design for a simple function. It is a nicely machined and turned aluminum knob, and there were no sharp edges left on after those processes. The set-screw hole is straight, and the threads are cleanly cut. The set-screw itself appears to be a low grade stainless steel, or possibly zinc coated (I didn't look that closely), so I used some antiseize on the threads so the dissimilar metals don't seize up over time. It took a total of about 3 seconds to install on my12-ton pneumatic/hydraulic press, and it works as intended. They say this is made for HF presses, but I'd imagine that it would work on just about any hydraulic press.

I installed this on a hydraulic press that I purchased from Harbor Freight a few years ago. I like the press a lot but it can get clunky -- manually jacking on it, loosening the bleeder with the handle, tightening before it loosens too far, then jacking again... rinse and repeat. Like I said, clunky.Actually, I'd installed a semi-permanent pair of Vice Grips on it to speed the process and provide better control. It looked terrible but helped. This is so much better!!!I installed this knob just as I was about to start a full suspension replacement on my Corvette. I knew the press would get a ton of use and I needed to make a better plan since using a manual jack can be so frustrating and slow. This knob installed easily and works flawlessly. Initially, it would get a bit crooked when I'd tighten the Allen set-screw. So I filed my bleeder and drilled a detente in the center. Then when I tightened the set-screw, the bleeder nestled tightly and straightly into the knob. Beautiful! And though the press is still completely manual, having the knob on it sped things up and made me smile repeatedly. It is such a cool thing!You are going to love how it is machined and finished. It is a BIG knob. The listing photos and description don't do a good job creating a clear perception of what you'll be getting. When it arrives, you'll be blown away at how nice the knob is, how well it is designed, and how beautifully finished it is.
