This bottle jack adapter is close to being a great accessory. I tested it on two different but similar 12 ton jacks. The adapter just will not sit flush on either jack because of how it is designed and bent. The bend in the U-shaped part of the adapter that would support and axle tube or similar structure is right where the jacks top pad should rest. Since this in not a flat surface inside of the tube portion of the adapter, it just will not sit flush on either jack. Instead the adapter will rock back and forth with no load on it, or sit to one side when under load. The second issue I have is you can not use the adapter without exposing approximately 2" of the jack screw. The top of both jacks when fully collapsed is wider than the adapter opening so again it does not sit as you would expect it should on the fully collapsed jack. If you have to raise the jack screw for the adapter to fully sit down on the top pad then you have a much taller height overall, which may affect where you are able to use this in the first place. Either the adapter tube is too tall or the tube is too wide, or both. It is almost good, but not the way it sits.

Does not fit the 20 ton HF.Does fit loosely on the HF 12 ton screw up part. Not the main shaft.Still need one for the 20 ton, not sure if it exists. I'll try a follow up with images.

Makes any standard bottle jack much more versatile and stabile. If the additional height will still clear the lifting point, this adaptor holds solid axles and tube frames much safer. There are no package labels nor adaptor stampings to indicate the maximum safe weight load, so I would be cautious with anything larger than a half ton truck.

This is a good value for a sturdy, well made, heavy duty lift device adapter with a lift capacity of 10,000 pounds (not 12 tons).Note that no lift device is included with it, this is just an adapter to use with your own compatible lift device. Do note that as I’ll describe some of the listing details and pictures have conflicting sizes and weight capacity numbers as I’ll describe below.It’s rated to be compatible with most lift devices with a lift platform of 1 ½ (1.5) inches or less in some of the listing details. I did note the listing says 1.65 inches in some details and pictures but the pictures list it at 1.5 inches. Based on the measurement in the pictures, the 1.65 inch diameter opening and fit looks correct vs the 1.5 inches.It’s rated for lifting 2”, 3”, and 4” round or square tubing or lift areas. There is some conflicting information in the listing on the lifting weight capacity in the listing details. In some areas it says 12 tons (26,455.5 pounds) and in other areas and pictures the listing shows it as 10,000 pounds for the load and lift weight. I think the lower 10,000 pound number is likely correct vs the 12 tons as the 10,000 pounds would be the lift and load weight capacity vs 12 tons.Be sure your lifting device is both compatible in the style, fit and the weight capacity and it’s heavy enough in both this adapter and your device to lift what you want to lift with it.It’s made of a very heavy duty steel metal that’s thick and sturdy and the quality of the metal, construction and finish is very good. The finish is nice and evenly applied in a dark ebony finish. It has an anti-rust, anti-corrosion galvanized finish. It’s very sturdy, well made and good quality. It’s fairly hefty at about 2.6 pounds by itself without the lifting device of your own (not included).The listing pictures and details show both use tips, the size and how it fits to your lifting device. I’d suggest saving, printing or referring to those to be sure it will work with your lifting device. It’s rated to fit.Size:-Width (lift area across): 6.1 inches but 4.5 inches (maximum width compatibility)-Height (from base to top of lift area side): 4.5 inches tall-Base opening (where it fits on your device): 1.65 inches across (circular) and 1.57 inches tall.Note that no lift device is included with it, you’ll have to provide your own that’s compatible to use with this adapter. Note that no instructions are included with it, nor is any storage bag or case included.Be sure this will be compatible with your own lift device and it’s weight and the weight of what you want to lift with it. Always be careful not to overload this or any lift device or adapter.

Very good strong quality bottle jack adapter.The design will cover most needs for general lifting.Prior to having this I would use pieces of wood and hope they didn’t crack, I feel much more confident with this adapter.Fits over frame sections and rear axels very nice, I’m sure there are many trade that will find this quite useful.Price is an excellent value and I would order again.

This thing is exactly what I was hoping for. I wanted an adapter to use with my bottle jack when changing the oil in my Ford Explorer. I wanted a few extra inches lift height and a wider jack point than just the small tip of a bottle jack. This covered both those wants perfectly and it’s extremely heavy duty to boot. I would highly recommend to anyone like myself who likes to be able to save a few bucks by doing the simple stuff myself at home. This aids in that endeavor nicely and will last forever.

The wide deep jaws will accommodate both my rear axle and also my truck frame so it’s provides a more secure fit when using a bottle jack for lifting my vehicle. The wall of the jack head adapter is lighter walled than the construction of the rest of the adaptor but there’s probably not much force on this area , it’s really only helps position the adaptor on top of screw head of jack. Going to carry this one in my off-road recovery tote and save my other one for driveway work . My other one is only suited for under a round axle so this one is more versatile.
