I'm extremely disappointed in the color of this paint. I wanted a medium/light grey color, and instead, the color is shiny metallic silver color. The name is very misleading. Yes, pewter is a metal, so some people might say it shouldn't surprise me that the paint looks so metallic. But pewter is a very DULL metal. Things actually made of real pewter are not shiny. There's no way I could use this for the interior of my fireplace. Shiny silver doesn't exactly go with aged brick and 100 year old original wood flooring. The makers of this product should provide retailers who sell it, with photos of what the paint truly looks like, so people can make informed decisions. Depending on the shipping of the retailer, you can spend anywhere from $25 to $45 for ONE CAN. At that price, a person deserves to get an accurate color of paint.
